The hotel is near the train station. Perfect location for me because I had to take the early train to London the next day. The room was clean, the reception was good. If you want to discover Bristol, I guess that you have the take a bus or have to walk 20 mins to get to the downtown.

We stayed at the hotel to allow us to catch an early morning airport bus from Temple Meads Station. The hotel is 5 minutes flat walk from the station and is located in a non-residential, relatively quiet area, although bear in mind you are within 100m of the railway lines. Having said that, the rooms are well insulated and noise...

Stayed here after a return flight into Bristol airport. There's a shuttle bus from the airport that takes u to Temple Meads Station. Arrived at 10:30pm mind, so stayed overnight. 5 minute walk to hotel. Staff were friendly enough. Room was decent, good stay for a budget hotel, with comfortable bed. Late check-out also a bonus.

Spent the night at the Ibis in one of their staff themed rooms which was Alice in Wonderland and it was a great to have something a little different to the normal décor. Perhaps they should do more of that with their rooms. The hotel is a little out of the way for the city centre so the other Bristol...

Excellent location for Bristol Temple Meads Railway Station (4 mins' walk) and 20 minutes' walk from Colston Hall where I was working. Friendly receptionists. Large room, comfy bed, good TV, shower and tea & coffee facilities. Closed window excluded outside noise (road, railway station), although there was some internal noise, particularly people walking (dancing?) around in room above. Reasonable price.

I stayed her on a couple of weekend visits to Bristol in November & December. The hotel is ideal for Temple Meads railway station, a short walk so long as you know which way to head from the station. The room was warm & the bed comfortable. The town centre is about 20 minutes walk away (I strolled in via...

As always, helpful staff, clean and well organised room and however you are traveling by road, train or air, perfectly positioned. The lifts are industry best standard never more than a few seconds wait.

I feel a bit guilty only giving this hotel three points, because all the staff were efficient and polite, but its problems seem to be in design and location, which are beyond their control. Plus: Very clean room and bedding. Good TV and Internet wifi. Five minutes walk from Temple Meads station. Interesting view of trains coming and going, if...

Stayed here overnight for an business trip. Very well located near Temple Meads station. Room a bit basic (bathroom 'module') but adequate, and very clean and tidy. Comfortable bed, had a good night's sleep. Food in bar/restaurant great. good menu, breakfast very good. Best thing was the friendliness of the staff!
