#13 of 75 Speciality lodging in Bristol
A beautiful Georgian town house built as a merchant house overlooking Bristol in 1720 nestled in a quiet corner between the City center and Clifton village. We are surrounded by trees and parks, yet right by the University and within walking distance of all the best bits of Bristol. We have 7 king-sized bedrooms all with private en-suite shower room, a large open plan communal lounge, kitchen, dining area. It is a perfect place to rent for business people, couples, friends, family & groups.

This was our second stay and we are both extremely pleased to have found our "treat venue". A beautiful building in a wonderful setting. You can hardly believe that you are in the heart of the city. If you are looking for rooms with TV this is not the place for you. We love the laid back atmosphere and enjoy the wonderful hospitality. Highly recommended, we will be back.

Full of character, super-comfortable bed, quiet (We were in 'Chestnut') and with a full, delicious quality breakfast available, this privately run B&B really exceeded our expectations. We were visiting Bristol just for one night, and the location was also perfect - walking distance down to the harbour and lots of local food and drink places. Tina was the perfect host, thank you very much

We stayed here for one night, whilst researching in the Bristol Uni Theatre Collection. In 'Willow', a newly opened double room at the back, middle price. Discount for booking direct. Breakfast now not included in price - £6.50 each for a very delicious continental breakfast, including eggs if wanted. Very impressed Tina had decaff Earl Grey tea - but her stock is running low so don't take it for granted! Very good sized room, and comfortable bed. Yes, the 'macerator' is noisy, for tap and shower water as well as loo, but it didn't bother us. Glad to have been prewarned by earlier reviews. Our good sized ensuite also had a glass panel, at the end of the shower, but we liked this since it gave light through especially during the night when switching on the light would have started the fan. Thank you also to the reviewer who told us that the bedrooms don't have tea/coffee making. I took my negligée and went downstairs happily to make us morning tea.Just Tina there getting breakfast . We could have had free parking overnight, after 6pm if there's a space, til 8 am. But we moved our car to the Trenchard Street car park round the corner from Berkeley Square. £4 overnight 6pm to 9am and £12 all day (if over 4 hrs) Pleased 9pm - 6pm cost just the £12. Tina looked after us extremely well - we will return! We ate supper at Molto Buono 69 in Park Street, and a wonderful lunch the next day at Murrays in Park Row. Both recommended. Climb up the Hill behind no 3 for a fantastic view.
