Future Inn Bristol garners appreciation for its prime location near Bristol City Centre and Cabot Circus, coupled with the bonus of complimentary parking—a feature frequently lauded by guests. While the hotel's cleanliness and spacious rooms are praised, some travelers feel the rooms appear dated and could benefit from modernization.
The staff's friendly demeanor is generally recognized, although service consistency doesn't always meet expectations. While the amenities, including comfortable beds, are a highlight, opinions on value suggest room rates may not align with the offered experience.

Detailed Reviews
For a family visiting Bristol, the Future Inn is a nice option. We had a quiet room at the end of the hall on the 3rd floor. You couldn't hear the traffic outside, or the many pre-wedding parties going on Friday and Saturday night. The beds were good. The water hot in the showers, with plenty of it. The restaurant also served until 10pm which was nice when we needed a late night meal. It's worth noting that they have some deals for families that include meals, and zoo tickets, so worth calling to check what they have available for the dates. You also need to pay attention, the toilet is in a separate room off of the bathroom (sink/shower), however, it shares the door. So only when you walk in, and close the door, can you get to the toilet. Quite ingenious way to save space, however, completely baffling when you first arrive, and want to use the facilities in the room.

We are a family of 4 with a 10 year old and 3 year old. We stayed in a superior double room. The hotel is in a perfect location for shopping and sight seeing and the parking is right next door. Our room was a little tired in places but clean and we felt very comfortable. Due to current circumstances there is no daily cleaning but you call down and anything you need is quickly replenished. The staff in this hotel from the moment we arrived made us so welcome and nothing was too much trouble in our opinion they are a credit to the owners and make this hotel stand out. If we return to bristol we will definitely book at this hotel and recommend any family to stay here. We have based our review with the price and service in mind compared to its rivals and we believe this hotel offers the best value for money.

We spent 3 nights at this hotel recently, the location is perfect for Bristol, Cabot circus is right next door, as is the car park for the hotel which is free to guests.
We received a very warm welcome & check in was very quick, our room no 4 on the ground floor was perfect, a very large king sized bed with a very nice shower room, the air conditioning was very good on the hot nights. Our room was clean & tidy with bottled water/coffee/tea & biscuits, a hair dryer/ironing board & iron/ a safe for your valubles.
We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant but did pop in for a drink & the food being served looked very good.
We enjoyed our 3 day stay & would stay here again in the future.
Only a couple of bad points to raise. 1. We were surprised to find that one of the packs of biscuits in our room had been opened & one of the biscuits had been eaten, not something you want to see & even more so with the current covid19.
2. Dont bother sending a email asking for reccommendations, we did & are still waiting for a reply.
To the ' Lady ' guest who thought it was ok to ignore the queue of people waiting to speak to the receptionist & waltz up to the counter because you had just paid for parking, you might think you dont need to wear a mask or speak in front of the perspex screen but for the wellbeing of the staff please dont do this again.

Stayed for a couples weekend away in Bristol. The location is very good and the free parking a bonus.
We were warned on arrival there was a wedding taking place on the sixth floor. With our room being located on the third floor we weren’t overly bothered about this. Little did we know that come 11pm, it would sound like we were beneath a night club. Goodness knows what guests on floors four and five must have thought.
The wedding guests are absolutely entitled to enjoy loud music but this hotel is just wanting the best of both worlds - the money from a wedding and a hotel full of guests beneath who are subjected to loud music until nearly 1AM. I feel sorry for the staff who undoubtedly have to cope with angry complaints through no fault of their own. When we spoke to them the next day, the staff on reception said they didn’t get any complaints from floors 4&5 but later said they divert customers away from these floors when a function is on, which explains why there weren’t more complaints!
In terms of the room itself, it was fine. The hair dryer didn’t work but the room was clean, bedding wasn’t overly hot and wifi was good. This might be a decent hotel to use in the week but I’d avoid at a weekend.

We stayed in Room 414, which was at the end of the corridor and therefore very quiet with no disturbance. Two queen beds. Great to have proper bed for the children rather than a pull out. Beds are very soft.
Room was spotlessly clean. Due to Covid no room service during stay, but no issue, there were sufficient toiletries and towels left in the room on arrival and each evening on our return to the hotel we asked for more water, tea, milk etc.
Breakfast was varied with a good choice of cooked, pastries, cereal, fruit and yoghurts. The reason i've given an average rating is simply because social distancing was none existent at breakfast. We were seated on a table where people were allowed to queue for the buffet in such a small area that they were touching the back of our chairs. I have raised this issue directly with the hotel.
Also found the public areas, bar, stairwells to be requiring more cleaning. Sat to have a drink in the bar on the first evening but did not return as we found the seating areas to be grubby.
Location was perfect for a break in Bristol. We would stay here again as long as assurance provided that breakfast Covid precautions improved.

Dear happyfamilytravelz, Thank you for your valuable feedback. I am sorry to read that we missed your excellent score during your recent stay with us, please accept my sincere apologies for this. I am delighted to read that you had a quiet night sleep, the room was clean, the room has sufficient toiletries, etc. I learned that as per your feedback the breakfast area was not followed the social distancing during your visit. I would like to ensure that we do take the precautions very seriously in our daily operations to protect our guests and our staff as well in this pandemic. We invited a limited number of guests in the breakfast area in each half an hour slot to maintain the guest flow but still because of the early arrival of some guests may cause the possible queues which can be actively rectified by our breakfast team. I already passed your feedback to my food and manager and I believe he is already in touch with you on this. Once again thank you for choosing the Future Inns, I hope we can look forward to welcoming you back again soon. We stayed for 4 nights with our children and had a lovely time. Hotel was clean, staff were friendly and facilities were good. Breakfast was lovely - lots of choice and good quality. We had dinner in the Chophouse one evening too and the food was great and as both children ate for free it was good value. I thought it might be a bit noisy as we were on a busy road and right next to Cabot Circus, but we requested a high room (and were given one on 5th floor) so other than a few sirens in the night, it was fine. The hotel was great at replenishing the water, biscuits and toiletries in the room every day, although I did wonder about the eco friendliness of the toiletries in the pouches? The room was nice with comfy beds, the air conditioning worked well and the bathroom was good - it was nice being able to separate the toilet from the rest of the bathroom if we wanted to. Overall a nice hotel in a good location, right next to the shops and family restaurants at Cabot Circus and a 15 minute walk to the harbour area 🙂

The room was comfortable and cool. Due to Covid the toiletries were single use and available on request. Make sure you have some before you want it or bring your own. Masks are mandatory in common parts but the desk failed to enforce this. Breakfast does not have a buffet due to Covid. My complaint was the lack of attention to detail. The Hash Browns were tepid, unless they state source I avoid Hotel sausages. The eggs , basically ironed bread. Two days in a row. The kitchen or waitress should check what they are sending out.

+1
This was the 2nd time I have stayed here, and both times I have been very happy with the facilities and service provided. The room was spacious, with a king size bed, a sofa, a table and 2 chairs, with a long workstation/dressing table . There was ample storage for clothes - a wardrobe and a separate drawer unit. An iron, ironing board and hairdryer were stored in the wardrobe. A bath robe and slippers and provided. Parking is in the Cabot Circus car park, 40 metres away. The reception staff were very efficient and friendly, as were the catering staff at breakfast. As stated, I was very happy with my stay and will be using The Future Inn as my hotel of choice when I am next in Bristol.

Great hotel location is perfect especially if you want to explore the centre of Bristol.it’s easy to catch buses to the zoo or to the bridge as well. The free parking was a bonus as in other locations where parking isn’t free you could be looking at 12+ a day ☹️ Making your trip really expensive!! Thank you future inn we knew we’d love it after staying at the Cardiff bay branch 😁

Our Superior Double room at the Future Inn was brilliant. The Hotel is in the most convenient of positions situated across the road from Bristol’s impressive Cabot Circus Shopping Centre.
The Reception was very welcoming, very clean with numerous sanitisers in convenient places, the Free Wi-Fi was very efficient and the Hotel has a small car park for which again there is no charge. Cooked Breakfasts are made to order, and the service was very good.
Our room was spacious and air conditioned. Although we were overlooking the main road and the shopping Centre opposite, it was quiet.
There are no rooms specifically for the less abled but there are good rails in the bathtub. We were very impressed with all the staff at the Future Inn which will be our No 1 choice Hotel for Bristol.

We offer car parking at Cabot Circus, next door to the hotel. Please note the height restriction is 2.15m / 7.05ft.
No, there aren't any fridges or mini bars in the bedrooms
Hi, If you park first, then go out through the Exit by the Car park Exit & Hotel is right there, walk right down beside the Hotel & you are at the front of Hotel.
It’s right beside it you just walk through the carpark get to the ground floor and the future inn is right there
The parking is in the multi storey car park for the Shopping Centre situated at the end of the main route into Bristol. Park any ware in this large and amazing multi storey. Then head off to the hotel, they will validate your parking ticket when you check out. You then get the rest of the day before you have to head home. Reception will explain all that. Have fun in Bristol and make sure you explore east village in Clifton, amazing area with coffee shops galore.
