Future Inn Bristol garners appreciation for its prime location near Cabot Circus, coupled with the convenience of complimentary parking. However, the spacious rooms, while often recognized for their cleanliness and comfort, are also critiqued for being outdated and sometimes lacking in maintenance.
While the hotel's service is generally commended for friendliness and professionalism, guests have called out the high prices, particularly for breakfast, suggesting the cost does not align with the quality provided. Amenities are satisfactory, yet guests note that improvements could be made, especially regarding shower temperatures.

Gifted a night here along with the family as a birthday treat. Hubby and I were given a large room with two king-size beds, a good sized bathroom with individual pre packed toiletries. A kettle with tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water also in the room. I agree with other reviews that it is looking a little tired and dated, the carpet in our room had a huge ridge along it, but to be fair the size of the room alongside free parking at Cabot Circus, and its location makes it a good comparison to staying at a Premier Inn.

Dear Nicole S, Thank you for your four-star review. It is always good to receive a positive feedback on our hotel. Pleased to read that you did like the large room with a good sized bathroom, extras touch in the room was excellent and the free car parking was a bonus. I am sorry to read that, we missed your excellent score on the carpet in your room. I will assure you the relevant department are aware of your reviews now and ensure they take your feedback on board and make the relevant changes to avoid this happening again in the future. Kind Regards

The room was spotless, the shower which in many hotels can be a dismal affair was excellent - good water pressure, solid base and doors, so no wet floor to step out to.
The car park, the cost of which is included in ones stay, is literally two minutes walk, and the hotel validates the ticket at reception on leaving; so you just go to your car and drive out.
One teeny grumble, which may be me nit picking, is that although checkout time is 12.00, housekeeping knocked on our door at 10.00. I would have hoped that reception and housekeeping would commute as to who as checked out.
But that is me being picky because I didn't want to leave the massive comfy bed ;-)
We enjoyed are stay very much and it will be the hotel of choice next time we come to Bristol.

We only stayed one night but the room was spacious and well equipped, the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was really enjoyable and filling with plenty of choice including vegetarian sausages on request. Car parking is in the Cabot Circus public car park which is next door and easy walking distance even with bags and the hotel validates your ticket so even that’s free. Definitely recommended

Stayed here for a night at the end of January. The photos on the hotel website do it a lot justice! The hotel is tired and dated with dirty worn-out capets, grubby furniture, marked walls, poorly lit rooms, small bathrooms and sticky hard floors throughout. This was the same throughout the hotel whether in the bedrooms themselves, in the reception area, the corridors, the bar area or the dining room. The grubby chairs in the bar made us not want to stay sit in there any longer than needed. The whole hotel had a slight damp/wet dog smell to it. The restaurant is over priced and due to that (and the issues mentioned above) we didn't eat in the hotel other than breakfast (as this was included in the price of our room). However, this was not great either, the yoghurts were very nice but the hot breakfast was very greasy, sausages looked under cooked, and most of it was only lukewarm! The worst part of all was the view from our bedroom which overlooked an under pass, that goes right under the hotel itself, this had homeless people sleeping in it's entrance way, there was also lots of scattered rubbish associated with the rough sleepers such as used pizza boxes etc!
The only positives were that the hotel staff were pleasant & informative and the location of the hotel is ideal for Bristol City Centre with parking situated right next door too.
We only stayed the 1 night as part of an overnight stop gab on a longer journey so we didn't make a fuss of the issues mentioned above. Thank god we didn't book in for a longer, because we would have checked out and asked for a full refund if so! I've stayed in much nicer hotels for half the price that this one cost! I would rate this hotel a 2 star at max!

At £175 per night for a family room I did expect a quality of at least a Marriott. Unfortunately it was less than an Ibis…
Very dated, with mold in the shower and scratched doors. All the lights in the room switch off with one switch (can’t separate reading lamps over the bed). Behind the sofa bed my daughter found someone’s dirty sock!
The only positive was a nice gentleman at the reception.
All in all absolutely not worth the money, so rather disappointed with the experience…

One night stay whilst visiting Bristol to watch Hamilton at the Hippodrome. Hotel is adjacent to Cabot Circus shopping centre with free parking at the car park. Hotel looks quite modern from outside and reception with friendly and professional staff to greet you. We checked in at 2 and our room was ready. I've stayed in Future Inn Cardiff and was expecting similar but was a bit disappointed with the room in Bristol. Dark and hot with dark brown carpet that looked old and dirty and minimal natural light. Window doesn't open so room very hot with air conditioning set at minimum 19degrees. Did ask reception for a fan but none available and although they said they would lower the aircon this didn't seem to make any difference. Bathroom very dark with wobbly toilet seat and sink water appeared to drain out of the shower head! Bed very comfy but room too warm to get a good night's sleep. Location is excellent being 2 minutes across a busy road into Cabot Circus and 10 minutes to Bristol Hippodrome and Waterside.

* I have sent a complaint to their email almost a month ago and not had a reply, so I've been forced to post it as a review. *
Be careful when booking with Future Inn Bristol, every year I've been it's been exactly what I expected, nice room, food, and good service.
Unfortunately this time I had a bad experience, the stay itself was nice but when it came to breakfast that's when I went downhill.
I went down with my partner and thought we had either had breakfast included in the price or pre booked, the waiter very politely asked 'room number' I gave it and he said unfortunately you haven't booked. So I instinctively said 'I did book breakfast', he said I'll check with my manager. He came back a few moments later and says 'yes that all confirmed'
So I assumed I had paid for it already by his reply, I go about my breakfast and then go to pick up some fruit, but the first orange I pick up is in fact green and full, and i mean FULL of mould !!! I didn't want to cause a scene as the waiter had been polite so I just took him to one side and gave him the mouldy orange.
A day later I get charged £30 for breakfast! A breakfast from what my understanding was I had already paid for. If I hadn't booked breakfast the waiter should of told me that and said if you'd like breakfast it would cost £30 but he didn't.
Be careful when staying here as they may add hidden charges!

Stayed here with my family after visiting BIMM University. The hotel is convenient to car parking which is free, but you do need to come out of the car park and walk round the back to the hotel which I did at night and it was a little bit sketchy. The room was dated and needs a revamp, the bath and toilet old and dated. The room was chock full of amenities, water, shampoo, body wash, bottle opener, ice bucket. The mattresses were so incredibly soft, so if you like a soft mattress you are going to be in heaven. It was a tad too soft for me and especially next to my husband, it felt like a waterbed. Lol The breakfast was £15 each if pre-booked, there was lots of variety, the sausage and bacon were on the cheap side but I enjoyed them but my husband who quite like an expensive sausage struggled! The corridor had quite a funky smell, can’t quite work it out smell like old people and musty. The staff fantastic and friendly.

Stayed here for couple of nights while attending a course run at the hotel. Generally speaking I was really most impressed with - and surprised by - the hotel; I had expected a simple 'mass market' Jurys Inn/Campanile type of establishment, but this was several grades higher than that. Everything was very clean, bright and spacious. Surprisingly quiet, too, given its location.
On the minor negative quibbles, I'd mention the fact that there is no bedside light - all lights on, or all lights off! And it would have been great to have had USB charging points by bedside. TV could have had Netflix/iPlayer/Prime apps so we could log in to our own accounts - and a simple nightlight would have been good to avoid stumbling round a strange room when going to bathroom late at night in the dark! Seminar rooms and facilities were very good.
However the one area which was poor was the restaurant. Although my main meals were perfectly OK, my wife had fish and chips where the fish was very oily; I think they adjusted the bill, but not too sure. The following night she had chicken, which was very dry. For our pre-ordered course dinner they changed the menu at short notice without telling anyone - the lentil salad somehow transmogrified into Crab parcels - not good news for one of our party who had a seafood allergy, as they didn't let us know! Dessert was also changed, and there had been some uncertainty about our course morning refreshments. Maybe if you stay here think about eating nearby: plenty of places right over the road, and a nice Italian, L'Osteria, a few steps away.

The hotel's cleanliness, brightness, and quiet atmosphere exceeded your expectations, especially considering its location. The spacious rooms and seminar facilities were also a plus. Probably won't go back there. The large double room on the 5th floor was ok but the smell of cigarette smoke was very offputting. Another minus point was the cost of breakfast if it is not pre-booked. On arrival at the restaurant I was quoted £17 pp for breakfast, vastly overpriced regardless of what you wanted to eat. I actually went across the road from the hotel and had a lovely full English, plus toast and coffee for £8 in a local cafe, and it was freshly cooked and not pre cooked like the hotel.

Hi, If you park first, then go out through the Exit by the Car park Exit & Hotel is right there, walk right down beside the Hotel & you are at the front of Hotel.
The parking is in the multi storey car park for the Shopping Centre situated at the end of the main route into Bristol. Park any ware in this large and amazing multi storey. Then head off to the hotel, they will validate your parking ticket when you check out. You then get the rest of the day before you have to head home. Reception will explain all that. Have fun in Bristol and make sure you explore east village in Clifton, amazing area with coffee shops galore.
There are more places to choose from in the Bristol area.
