Welcome to The Bristol! Anyone spending any length of time in Bristol is likely to come across The Bristol. Sitting pretty on the quayside of the Floating Harbour, this luxury Bristol hotel is surrounded by the best of Bristol's Old City and maritime history: the Bristol Old Vic and the beautifully restored Queens Square, Bristol Cathedral and At Bristol (across Pero's Bridge), and of course The Arnolfini, Bristol's celebrated contemporary arts centre is right next door. For all these reasons, The Bristol is hard to avoid, even by visitors who are staying elsewhere. Those who do stay at our hotel in Bristol get to experience our great location, greatly reduced overnight car park rates of £5 at the adjacent NCP, the fresh, modern luxury of our bedrooms, and the chic cuisine and quayside ambience of The River Grille and Shore Café Bar. Make sure you are among them and choose The Bristol, the finest Bristol Hotel!

This hotel exceeded my expectations. We stayed in a king size room which was a great size, comfortable bed and pillows. It was quiet and very restful. The food at the hotel was really good in all areas and the staff were very helpful and polite.

Dear adnilsenoj, Your short but sweet account of your perfect stay with us is greatly appreciated by our whole team at The Bristol. The opening line of your review is the ultimate reward for all their hard work. Next time, we will have to make sure those new, higher, expectations, are exceeded even further. Dear Sunshine10101, That really does sound like a "fantastic stay' and 'fantastic service'. It's clear that we have delivered on every aspect of your guest journey with us, which is a wonderful reward for all of us at The Bristol. Our Shore Bar has recently had its harbourside terrace refurbished and it's brilliant to receive anecdotal evidence of how much our visitors are enjoying the new ambience created by our Bar Team. Thank you for sharing your 5 star review with the Trip Advisor Community. We can't wait to see you returning again soon, for more of the same. Kind regards, Brett Atkinson Senior Guest Relations Manager The Bristol

A somewhat dated in decor hotel, but friendly staff (can do attitude) and a fantastic location especially for the city centre and docks. Parking is a breeze right next to the hotel (in fact you don't need to go out of the carpark....its's attached to the hotel. Some of the rooms

Dear Voyage23151023365, When guests are recommending us to the online community we know that our Bristol team have delivered another enjoyable experience, and we can't thank you enough for sharing your largely positive review. We don't hide from the fact that some of our bathrooms are on the small side (and we have fully acknowledged that via this and many other online platforms), but as you note, we do excel in so many other areas, especially when compared to our direct competitors in the city. And our friendly in-house Reservations team are always on hand to allocate rooms more suited to individual requirements. We very much look forward to welcoming you back before too long, with the promise to add that little extra to your guest journey; nudging those contented 4 stars up to an exceptional 5. Kind regards, Brett Atkinson Business Excellence Manager The Bristol

Dear DBJTM4711, Your excellent review of your guest journey with us at The Bristol is endlessly rewarding, and we very much enjoyed ensuring the whole party were well looked after. Your appreciative notes on our luxurious weekend Prosecco package, and our accommodating colleagues, are also inspiring to see. We fully acknowledge that our 1960s property is in need of those vital improvements, in terms of accessibility to our River Grille restaurant and River Lounge bar (as mentioned via this forum previously), and we are excited to report that those refurbishment plans you have spoken to us about will be going ahead in the very near future. It's immensely pleasing to know that the improvements we have already made with regards to our accessible rooms exceeded your expectations. Jero has been a valued member of our Front Desk team over that past twelve months, and he leads by example when it comes to guest relations; he was overjoyed when we forwarded him your feedback on his attentive service. The whole team here at The Bristol look forward to seeing all of you returning again soon, whether you are planning another gathering, or holidaying individually. Thank you for sharing your wonderful account of your visit to the city. Kind regards, Brett Atkinson Business Excellence Manager The Bristol

Yes it's a ncp carpark next to the hotel. I cannot remember if there was a height restriction. But the parking charge is 5 quid for your stay if ur a guest at the hotel as opposed to 32 quid per day if ur not a guest. Would be worth a phone call to check the height restrictions if any
