Stayed at Brook guest house for one night initially friendly manager. Room dirty, wet pillows, TV no signal, dripping condensation from roof, white stains on cushions on bed, lock hanging off bathroom. Asked to move rooms told fully booked, explained problems in morning to staff member on checkout who promised manager would call me regarding refund of some money, no...

Good value overnight stay, with a very central location. Booked last minute on the day of staying. Room was compact, but very well furnished, and very clean. Bed was kingsize and very comfortable. Only downside was the room was a little too warm, and couldnt open window due to noise from kitchen downstairs, heating control was impossible to work outhow...

My husband and I stayed at Brookhouse as a present from our daughter and son-in-law. We received some wine and chocolates in the package. It's location was ideal for our trip to the theatre. The room was lovely and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was really tasty. I had the full English, whilst me husband had...

My husband and I arrived early Saturday afternoon. We received a very warm welcome amd were advised our room was already for. Our room was beautifully decorated and was both comfortable and clean. Lovely modern bathroom. We didn't have a room with a view however we did have a little courtyard below. Breakfast service was friendly and efficient. The food...

We stayed for one night here - sold by the fact that it claimed "free wifi throughout the whole house". Sadly this is not true. It's fine if the guesthouse doesn't have wifi but it is one of its "selling points" in all its literature, so naturally we expected it. Looking at other reviews, many other guests have made this...

We traveled to Bristol for one night we found Brooks guest house to be pleasant. Bed was comfy and room was nice and warm. The breakfast was nice and staff were friendly. The location was excellent for Bristol city centre and getting to and from railway station. The one thing we didn't like was the stains on the carpet in...

The hotel itself was nice, room a little on the small size but fine. Very clean and a good bed in a great area. The let-down came when we had to wait for a table for breakfast both days that we were there...50 mins on the Sunday morning, which I think is disgraceful. I have never stopped anywhere where I...

Decent guesthouse for a short stay. The rooms are a nice size and the bed was comfortable. Has everything you need. Breakfast was decent too and we had prosecco and truffles. The only downsides were it was a bit noisy outside but that can't be helped I suppose and also the carpets are quite uncomfortable on bare feet.

My wife and I stayed in the Brooks Guesthouse Bristol for a romantic valentines get away. The location of the Guest House is superb and is perfect for visiting @Bristol or many of the other attractions near the watershed. Not only is the hotel quiet and tidy, but the honesty bar is a nice and competitive bonus. What stood out...

Fabulous location in the heart of St Nicholas Market central Bristol. Nice breakfast. We stayed in a Rocket on the roof. A lovely experience if tiny (to be expected). Very clean and comfortable and great for a fun night away. Any longer may be a bit claustrophobic. Nice staff, great location, a good choice.
