We spent 10 days at the end of Septembe at Henbury Lodgr and we were allocated a large room I think it was number 3, it overlooked the car park and garden and was excellent for our stay, there were 2 large comfortable chairs which after a morning seeing the sights, at 80+ we were ready for a hour or... Nicely decorated rooms and friendly helpful staff. Excellent breakfasts too. Just outside of Bristol and easy to get into the city centre while staying in a hotel with a country manor atmosphere. Local buses on the doorstep for Cripps Causeway and the excellent shopping there. Highly recommended.

It is 2 years since we stayed at Henbury Lodge. We stayed for seven nights, half board in the week, eating excellent bar snacks at the weekend (the restaurant is closed). The value is very good. The service is exemplary. The food is very good - excellent most of the time with a few lapses (overcooked sea bass, stringy runner... More

Bristol has many "Named" hotels but just travel a little west towards Henbury and find a gem. This hotel has not dropped a single point since my last visit, which was some time ago. The staff are all excellent, complimented by and excellent evening & breakfast chef. The staff during the evening service were warm, friendly and made one welcome.... More

We stayed for 2 nights in a very spacious room. The room was comfortable and clean and the bathroom shower was terrific. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel dining room was not open on the weekend but limited pre -prepared meals were served in the bar. They were good and very reasonably priced. The nearby traditional Blaise pub was... More

A pleasant small hotel, friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms. Don't let its location on the corner of a busy road junction put you off, the hotel and its rooms are very quiet and relaxing. Good breakfast, don't be afraid to ask for more coffee, they only give you a small teacup sized cup, but they are happy to give... More

We stayed for one night only over the Bank holiday weekend. I has booked directly and so had the chance to make a request for a quiet room. On arrival, our booking requests had been noted and we were shown to a quiet room, facing the courtyard at the side/rear. It was perfect. The bathroom had obviously recently been updated... More

Stayed here two nights with friends. We had large spacious rooms of the third floor - which were well appointed and spotlessly clean. The hotel, while on the outskirts of Bristol, is on a regular bus route in and out of the city - so you can leave your car in the car park. All the staff were extremely friendly... More
