Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely stay at The Travelodge in Aylesbury. The staff were so polite and a massive thank you to Cheryl who made sure my stay was comfortable and easy. Had a lovely view of the canal which was very peaceful. I would come back again and recommend to friends and family.

As with all travel lodge hotels you know what you are getting. The rooms were Clean and modern, with very comfortable beds. I want to mention that every member of staff we had contact with were Friendly and helpful from reception, bar, restaurant and housekeeping. 1 member of staff really stood out on our first morning (I am pretty sure her name was Sasha) they were extremely helpful and friendly nothing was to much trouble, very efficient and all done with a smile. Thankyou Sasha, it was great to be greeted by a smile first thing in the morning! The breakfast choices were great, freshly cooked, and quality products. We also tried the night pizza service, which again was great, pizzas were freshly made to order, hot and tasty. All in all happy customer who will be returning and would recommend. Thankyou and well done to the Aylesbury travel lodge team!

Absolutely incredible staff on the desk, no problem is too big and they're very welcoming and accommodating. Clean room, lovely view of the canal. Quiet and relaxing, very close to shops. Easy parking in multi storey. No room service but the restaurant put it on a tray for me to take to my room. Breakfast was quiet but sadly everything was cold (expect the coffee which came in a takeaway cup, very handy !)

Hotel staff brill, especially front of house lady who wasn't just warm and friendly and helped with Taxi's but who, in absence of Travel Lodge supplied emergency kits, buys toothbrushes with her own money for idiots like me who forget. Above and beyond.

We recently stayed at T’Lodge Aylesbury. New hotel, nice decor, warm-welcoming staff and nicely situated by the Grand Union canal. We stayed at the end of a business trip, having been at another hotel and needed extra nights, none available were we where, so we booked online for 2 additional nights here. Very quiet, comfortable bed, room a bit smaller than usual Travelodge’s but still roomy for two people. Lovely view straight onto the Grand Union canal basin and within easy reach of the town centre. Room prices were really good. An observation:for such a lovely refurbished and new look hotel, it may have been good to install air conditioning, as in the summer would get quite hot. Everything else 10/10 😊👍

Very clean and quiet. Very convenient for walking to town centre and parking in multistorey on top of hotel. Great setting right next to canal. Reception staff very friendly. As with most Travelodges, rooms are basic but all you need for a good nights, sleep.
