Ideal for the one night stay for myself, the Ministry of War & Finance & Child B as he had his Uni interview the following day - well they've got to have some 'oiks' from up North to lower the tone! I do love a place where you can have a poo, brush your teeth over the sink & wash...

Just spend a night in this lovely B&B, very close to the railway station, small room. Mine (room 6 - for 1 people) has bathroom on the floor. Breakfast was good, and despite my lie-in (cause of a great wedding), wasn't a problem to serve (thx!). Not in the town center but quiet.

This is a terrace property with limited parking around the back. If all you want is a bed for the night, then it might fit the bill. All the available space in the house has been converted to guest rooms, so there is not lounge or sitting area downstairs apart from the tiny breakfast room which is locked and inaccessible...

Visited Tension Towers earlier this week. It is literally 3 minutes walk from the station and about a 10 min stroll to the Centre. We stayed in a double en suite which was spotlessly clean, the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in and the night was very peaceful (was at the back of the house so don't...

Clean rooms but relatively expensive. The breakfast room was locked the following morning and we had to telephone the mobile number to get it open. We paid our bills the next day on leaving but found they had already debited my credit card. Refund made eventually with apology.
