Tamburlaine is more than a remarkable hotel. It is an open invitation for Cambridge to gather. A strikingly elegant destination where in-the-know locals and discerning visitors can meet and mingle, work, rest and stay. At the heart of Tamburlaine are two floors of stunning shared spaces for our guests to make their own, whether they drop by for a coffee or stay with us for a week. Each area offers its own distinctive setting, mood and atmosphere. From the contagious buzz and energy of the Restaurant and Bar, to the genteel grandeur of the Garden Room. From the easy informality of Steam Deli to the restful calm of the Library. Complete with all the trimmings and trappings you’d expect from a gleaming new four-star property, the sizeable and sumptuous guest rooms come in three academia-inspired categories: Fresher, Scholar and Dean. They assure state-of-the-art comfort by way of handmade King Koil beds, marble-clad bathrooms with retro Roberts radios, all surrounded by dark wood panelling, polished concrete, velvet fabrics and brass details.

My wife and I stayed for a night. When we checked in the guy handed in a bill with £50 on the top of what was expected without saying anything ? "Oh yes this is because of the deposit" he said. Maybe it would be good to inform the customer about it right?!? The restaurant is not

I always park at the train station car park and use the ringgo app to pay as it’s cheaper. Hope this helps.
