Spotlessly clean, excellent service and the best breakfast choice I can recall. I can thoroughly recomend this hotel that is fairly central in Cambridge, but very limited parking at the hotel (pretty hard anywhere in Cambridge).

Stayed here for one night whilst visiting Cambridge. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the centre of Cambridge. The room was small but had all the facilities required with a good bathroom. The staff were helpful and I would definitely stay here again

On arrival you may think its going to be a bad night but you would be wrong. The receptionist on my arrival was professional but not particularly friendly, the bar is a non event really and you notice the stair carpets have seen way better days. However, the negatives end there, and lets be honest none of those things matter.... More

The Lensfield is a good value, small mid market hotel - not fancy. The breakfast was good but we nearly missed it as it finishes early by 9.30. Our double room was small but we only used it to sleep. The rate was ressonable value vs other more upmarket hotels. No parking which was a bit of a drawback so... More

Arrived quite late on Monday night. Friendly staff. Room very nice & comfortable. (View not up to much but that wasn't a problem). Lovely cooked breakfast (& with lots of other options if cooked breakfast isn't your thing). The hotel itself looks a little shabby - carpets in hallways etc but apart from that, all good.

We spent 3 nights in a junior luxury suite, having been upgraded (a surprise to us) from the executive double we'd booked. The hotel is just round the corner to the Fitzwilliam Museum and a 10 minute walk to the city centre. Our room was comfy, clean and spacious. I must admit we were surprised on signing in to the... I was surprised that the room was really small. The bed was comfy and bathrom was clean but it was so hard to flush the toilet. The walls of the room are also thin and I can hear people next door talking during the night which did disturbed my sleep.

From what I could establish this was one of the few Cambridge City Centre Hotels (10/15 minutes walk to the centre) obtainable at a reasonable price! Double room was on the small side but it was more than adequate and had recently been re-furbished. WI-FI was good and usual tea/coffee, tv, Hair dryer all there. No evening meals served but... Half an hour after checking in I went to reception to tell the person who checked me in that the room smelled of cat wee. She responded by asking me 'had I used the room?', I told her she checked me in half an hour ago, which she obviously knew. She then told the manager, who asked me what was... More

This hotel is well situated within walking distance of the centre of Cambridge and restaurants. Parking is extremely limited. The room itself was ok but the bathroom was small. Breakfast was very average - and I couldn't understand why, each morning at breakfast the scrambled egg was sitting in water - was it re-constituted? The breakfast staff were friendly and... More
