Slow poor service, very small portions and tepid food. I'm not normally one for negativity but I've eaten here three or four times and the service has been the same every time. I have vowed never to eat there again! Don't get me wrong it's the best location by the river but that's the only positive.

Living close by I have visited it on numerous occasions and its always turned out pretty shocking however I have to report that on 3/10/16 at approx 6.30pm things may have turned the corner. We both had decent meals,a couple of beers and a dessert and were Done and dusted within the hour. Fairs fair and after a couple of...

Was really hoping for a wonderful experience. The interior was lovely however no tables available for at hour. I took this as a good sign and that the food would be great. Certainly the prices suggested a quality meal. We sat outside beside the canal as we were told the wait for our meals would be 30 or 40 minutes....

We regularly eat here and the food is always to such a high standard. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Sitting by the river it has a wonderful setting for eating outside on warmer days. Inside is clean and cosy with an open fire. Thoroughly recommend.

I'll start with the couple of gripes. We were next to a vent and on the coldest day of the year the gentle breeze was enough to notice but not cause a problem. We ordered 2 Black Angus fillet steaks only to be told there was 1 left! On a Saturday evening at 7.30pm - not good enough! Having said...

We just dropped in for a bite. The menu looks like real thought has been put into it, and the food was really good. Scallops and pulled pork very nice. Forgot to order chips, and the waiter just went back and fetched us a portion foc. Nice of him and really appreciated. Decor and location really good, and staff worked...

I have visited the bridge 2x now and I have never been impressed! We visited on a Sunday at about 5pm, and they had ran out of almost everything you could think of!! After being told everything I wanted had sold out i settled for a mixed grill which is quite honestly the most disappointing plate of food I have...

I have been to the Bridge twice now in two months taking family. I live in Exeter and visit Ely when I can. The Bridge is in a stunning location which makes you want to experience it, sadly it fails to perform. Inside the pub/restaurant it is nicely laid out and has a welcome feel until the ordering process starts,...
