Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Check-in staff not very friendly. Only had 1 towel in room even though 2 adults staying 2 nights. Had to clean tv controller before using (looked like it had been lost down the sofa for days) not my best experience in a premier inn. My normal go to for a cheaper couple of days away. Stayed here before not sure I will again. Take food and drink with you. £2.30 for small bottles of water is a joke.

This Premier Inn is in the best of locations for visiting beautiful Cambridge ! Our stay at hotel was excellent as usual!Room was very comfortable and nothing was any trouble for the very friendly staff!!Tony Doyle member of the team certainly went the extra mile by returning by post our forgotten IPad left in our room. He was extremely understanding and professional and put it the post extremely well packaged and recorded delivery!!

The stay was perfect , the hotel provided our base a stones throw from Cambridge . we walked by river to the city . 20-25 minute walk and we got an uber back to hotel for less than £7 . Staff were courteous and helpful . Room was clean and of a high standard . Breakfast was delicious. Our stay was perfect I would most definitely book again.

Two adults checked in but only one towel and one tea cup in room. Too tired to go all way back to reception in hope of finding someone at reception desk. Hand soap pump was broken. No tea bags at all in room. Would not stay here again. Will try different hotel companies.

My experience here was made amazing by Harry (the receptionist) who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and we were happy. He was constantly talking and smiling with all guests, let alone the most welcoming check-in i think we've had at Premier Inn! Great stay and great hotel.

This is the worst premier inn we have ever stayed in. Firstly, as a real ale man, the only drink they had for me on their bar menu was Doombar, but they had none in stock, saying it wasn’t delivered. Not good enough. Secondly, there were fifteen of us for evening dinner and some of the meals (gammon and steak) were so long being delivered to the table, some others had already finished their meals! Third and definitely worst was the noise from the air con vent all flaming night, even though we turned off the air conditioning in the room. They have a sign on the door to the rooms saying please tiptoe! I thought they prided themselves in giving everyone a good nights sleep. Not here you won’t. My wife was awake all night.

I am a regular here and really enjoy visiting for breakfast, either continental or full English. The staff are especially friendly, especially Sadie, who is a ray of sunshine and is super kind whenever I come in! Would definitely recommend.

We were initially offered a 'room with a view' on the top floor that turned out to be a disabled room (Room 505) with a walk in wet room shower with a seat, hand rail etc. the room had a closed-in smell of wet dog and a stain on one of the pillows. I asked for another room and got a standard double room which was up to the usual standard with a bath etc. We do not require an accessible room, but I feel bad for anyone that does as i feel this was not up to the standard I would expect from Premiere Inn.

This was my first time booking and staying at a hotel by myself so I'm not sure how valid one would consider my review, but I think their service is owed some kind words. The staff there are all friendly, and thankfully have a "no stupid questions" attitude. You can ask them anything, such as how the lights work, how to locate your room, and if you can still buy a breakfast even though you didn't book it. Spoilers: you can! Checking in is real easy with their app/email. The rooms have a nice cozy atmosphere to them, and are very tidy. You are given a comfy and warm double bed, a Digital TV with HDMI, composite, and USB support (bring a firestick!), many places to store things (drawers, shelves, table), a free tea set/kettle, and a bathroom with a shower/bath. The food offered is a selection of traditional english and continental breakfasts, drinks included, served buffet style. You never have to put anything on your plate you don't want! The location is in a convenient place, with several retail parks and pubs nearby, so even if you *do* forget anything you can get it from somewhere. If there was one nitpick I have with the place, it would be that the air conditioning doesn't quite get cool enough. It can get really warm in bed, perhaps too warm, so I'd suggest a cold shower before trying to sleep.
