Just returned from a family visit to Alderney. Stayed at Braye Beach hotel and had a lovely room with a sea view and balcony. Lovely room, super staff... that extends to The Divers pub next door. Love the fact that you actually get a jug of fresh milk in the mini bar! None of that horrid sachet or carton stuff...

Dear Marilla, what a kind review, great to hear you enjoyed yourselves, Trevor was naughty this morning helping himself to the early morning butter delivery, but this will be deducted off his salary at the end of the month. Richard

We stayed for a few days over a weekend in Feb and whilst the staff were more than welcoming and friendly I do think we didn't see the best of the hotel as it was out of season and very quiet. It was very clean but what let it down in my mind was the food was not up to...

Street view room was excellent value. The complimentary decanter of sherry is a very enjoyable personal touch that typified the stay. Excellent food with attentive and charming service. The location is wonderful and relaxing.

Fantastic stay at The Braye Beach over New Year, including an amazing Gala Dinner on New Year's Eve. Good facilities at the hotel, including bars with wonderful views over the beach and a cinema. Lovely place to just chill out, although Alderney also has wonderful scenery and we enjoyed walking all over the island. Richard and his staff were great,...

We enjoyed Christmas at this hotel so much last year that we decided to do it all again this year, and we weren't disappointed. It was amazing, we couldn't fault it. As last year the service was brilliant, the food perfect and the atmosphere was just right. Congratulations once again to Richard and his staff.

We had a flying trip into Alderney - glorious winter sun but very windy. It was a Monday but on checking we found we could have lunch at Braye Beach Hotel. A healthy stroll from the airfield and we were ready for a good lunch. Sweet potato soup sounded good but we keep liquid levels low to avoid discomforts in...

If you are going to Alderney this is _the_ hotel to stay in. Lovely rooms with great views, first class staff at reception and in the restaurant, really excellent (though quite pricey) haute cuisine restaurant, and fabulous breakfast (I asked for the Eggs Benedict to be made with spinach instead of ham and they did so without a murmur.) The...
