This is by far the worst hotel. I couldn't even stay there it was that bad. More like a hostel with a dirty man on reception with a dirty shirt. Not the best area of Chester either. The bathroom was smaller than that in a caravan. The shower head was filthy and the towels were grey. Just very unwelcoming. Was...

Take NO notice of the room photo's, these must be of a different hotel. They bear no resemblance whatsoever to the accommodation . It's FILTHY / DELAPITATED / FULL OF MOULD / UNCLEAN. In fact the only thing worse is the BREAKFAST. If you fear for your HEALTH - DO NOT EAT IT - Parking at the Hotel is virtually...

Where do I start! This place is by far the worst hotel me and my partner have ever stayed in, from the stench of sewerage in the room to the filthy off white bedding, pubic hair in what is supposed to be a bathroom (had better facilities on a building site portaloo). Dirty cups, stained furniture. Had to get extremely...

On arranging a birthday treat for a friend to go to Chester for a night away we were both horrified on arrival to our 3* accommodation . On entering we were both shocked at the set up of the reception area as is certainly didn't and wasn't as inviting as the photos on booking .com led us to believe. Trying...

Booked on the strength of Booking.com reviews, which i will not trust again in the future. This place is a hostel not a hotel,Room was filthy, ceiling had the remnants of a damp patch for most of its area, the main room door lock 50mm circular hole where the lock was changed,en-suite must fall into the minimum building regulation.Advertised Wi-Fi did not work...

Unfortunately this hotel is disgusting ! In all my years of travel I have never actually had the misfortune of staying in anywhere nearly as bad. On arrival there was absolutely no assistance from the young man at reception, he watched as everyone carried their bags. The nice inviting bar that was pictured so well on the Internet never opened,...

I recently stayed for a short break at Lloyds of Chester. I was by myself and was treated really well. I had a very nice breakfast, the beds were lovely and clean. Admitted the shower and toilet were on the small side but it was nice clean. I had only a few minutes walk with my luggage from the train...

It's acceptable... the benefit is being near the chester train station and within walking distance from the city center. I recommend it for low-budget families. Otherwise, it needs to reach an elevated level regarding the services. Unfortunately, the bed sheets hadn't been changed for 5 days, no daily cleaning of the rooms. I think this hotel has the potential be...

I booked this hotel on booking.com this is a disgusting hotel Lloyds Chester!! I do not recomend at all!! I do not live like this in my own home never mind paying to go and stay somewhere. It should be booking.coms responsability to refund the 1 night hotel cost. Never mind booking.com saying it is non refundable. They should make...

Not one good thing to say about this hotel, rooms were dirty and old and not clean. The 'bathroom' is literally a box, there is a shower with a sink directly behind it and a footstep away to right a toilet. We stayed there for 2 nights of hell and an asian lady went around every morning (around 8 when...
