Everything about this hotel is dreary dark and unwelcoming....room was dire, bathroom was clean but a bit of a squeeze.. Lighting was a joke and the bed was just ok but tough pillows....best of all was the breakfast...we were going to pay for this separately... Then we tried it... Cold congealed and cheap... Mushrooms were crinkled if you can believe...

Working in a 3* B&B I expected more from this 3* Best Western. Firstly the staff are really nice and friendly and the actual hotel itself i.e. The hallways/bar/reception are really nice to look at however as soon as you walk in your room it all ends! The rooms are dated with old fixtures and fittings especially in the bathroom...

Well where do I start? I booked this 3 star hotel thinking its near to the railway station, which was useful, and that the price wasn't bad. What a mistake I made by not reading the reviews left by other previous guests on trip advisor. This place is in dire need of a facelift. The decor is truly appalling, dark...

The hotel is basic but adequate , the room was smallish but excellent bathroom and the staff were friendly and helpful . The downside was the buffet breakfast at £10 per head. The hot food was barely warm and the ingredients were of poor quality. We left without eating it.

Arrived to find they couldn't find our reservation! Once sorted we were surprised to find the room was better than expected. The TV had a mind of its own though and had two different remote controls that you had to use in the correct order to get a TV channel up, the speakers in the television were damaged so you...

Having only paid £49 on a groupon deal, which included an alcoholic drink and breakfast for 2 I wasn't expecting a great deal, so wasn't disappointed but I have stayed in better hostels and I would only say this is a 2 star hotel! The standard of room was very poor and dated..... Very uncomfy beds, just 2 singles pushed...
