Arrived for a mid week break a day before storm Doris. Cotton Farm is a working farm. We were made to feel welcome. The rooms are vast. There are hotel rooms in Tokyo that are smaller than the bathroom alone at this B & B. We were provided with a complimentary decanter of sherry. The electric blanket was very welcoming...

Staying at Cotton Farm is like staying in a 4 Star Hotel, but 100 times nicer! Clare is an excellent host and gives you a warm welcome, the spacious en suite rooms have everything you need, with very comfortable beds. And the breakfast is cooked to order and delicious. If I'm working in Chester again, I'll definitely stay here.

Stayed overnight following a visit to nearby Chester Zoo. Lovely, quiet, countryside location. We had 2 rooms - one double and one twin between us.....both were very clean, extremely comfortable and very spacious, with big bathrooms. Breakfast was lovely - good choice and we were all made very welcome. Would DEFINATELY return if we were in the area. Thank you!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Cotton Farm is a wonderful farmhouse bed and breakfast close to Chester, with gorgeous large rooms, set in peaceful countryside down a quiet lane. We have a 4-star grading from Enjoy England. Cotton Farm is just 4 miles from Chester, and easily reached by car or taxi.Cotton Farm is something of a hideaway bed and breakfast - we are one of Alistair Sawday's special places to stay. We have three spacious bedrooms, all stylishly decorated and comfortably furnished. The gardens are in the classic English style, with resident hens and greater spotted woodpecker. The Guest Bedrooms are in the original part of the farmhouse, which is at one end of the building - making them very quiet and rather self-contained.The fields around the farm are full of wildlife, and there are riverside walks through wildflower meadows over ancient packhorse bridges. ... more   less
