Good quality bed, bathroom and facilities. Great hospitality by the owners. A really comfortable place to stay. I would stay again and recommend. I stayed in the Rosa room. It has a traditional feel but with all the mod cons like free wifi. Only £4...More

Spent a long weekend here in March when visiting family. Rooms were very smartly decorated if a bit on the small side. Large walk in shower. Off road parking available. Honesty bar in the lounge. Breakfast was amazing. Fresh fruit, cereals and various cooked mains.

Thank for your response and we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay. I don't think the staircase is 'steep', in fact it's quite easy going. It's just that it has 16No risers, and when you're used to to 11 or 12 you will notice...More

About 20 minutes, but there's plenty of interesting things to see on the way, so you may wish to dally on the way.
