Stayed here two birthdays in a row in January and loved both times! Staff are so polite and welcoming even down to the cleaners. Beauticians are lovely and make you feel so relaxed. Even the breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommend this place and definitely will be coming back next year!

Just two minutes walk from the city centre. lovely room with nice lounge area to relax in after a long day walking around the city. Accommodating reception staff and restaurant to meet our needs for dinner. Chef happy to cater for vegans. Nice public areas and good bar service. Recommended for a short break.

Stayed at the Mill house Chester for three days in between Christmas and New Year. We stayed in the Champagne suite, what a fantastic room, extra large bed, spacious jacuzzi bath, over looking the canal. Accommodation was 5 star, located so close to the busy shopping area. Food in hotel was excellent for such a busy place. Staff are a...

Great location a short walk along canal and then 5 minutes to the main shopping area. Comfy rooms, friendly helpful staff and good food. We were on bed and breakfast basis but had an evening meal in the restaurant which was good value for money. There was also a jazz band and singer on in the bar on Monday evening....

The food is excellent with plenty of choice, always well cooked, served hot even though there are usually 8 of us and is very reasonably priced. I am unable to comment on food in the evening as we only ever have lunch, but l would...

Just returned from a stay at The Mill. From the minute we arrived until leaving, all staff were brill, courteous and friendly and determined to ensure we enjoyed ourselves. From helping to decorate the table with balloons etc (50th birthday) to service from restaurant and bar staff, nothing was too much trouble. Drink prices were very reasonable and the dinner...
