I stayed here for a night for a business trip. I had a ground floor room which was VERY spacious and roomy with a large double bed and plenty of storage space. The decor was old but that was okay. The bathroom was also large with a reasonable shower. It's about 5 minute's walk

"Choose another hotel, any hotel, even a hostel, even a cardboard box by the station, a park bench, just anywhere really"
"ask for 1 overlooking main road not 1 at the back."
"We stayed in a family room number 18 this was on the front and we didn't mind as we laughed hearing people make their way back to the train station at the end of the night. If its quiet rooms then you need the other side of the hotel facing onto the canal at the back as the front is very busy until the early hours of the morning."
"awful. un clean. rooms were awful. beware...this is one of the worst hotels in england."
"Get a room at the back and away from any fire doors as they slam shut."
