I don't recognise this B&B from the negative reviews on here - I found my room clean, comfortable and warm, the breakfast was generous and filling, and the owner friendly and welcoming. The decor is not modern, this is not a boutique B&B thank goodness where you pay over the odds for appearance, but excellent value for money if your...

Stayed in the Gold Room which was clean warm and comfortable. The house is a lovely old building with many character features. The decor is a little dated but this in no way detracts from the stay. Breakfast was good and filling served by our host Barbara and we loved the music wafting in from the kitchen, some good old...

I have been visiting Chester for the last 15 years because my husband and his family lived there. When my parents-in-laws’ health deteriorated we need to find somewhere else to stay. Somewhere that was also safe for our then 2 year old daughter. I have no idea why anyone would write anything negative about Tentry Heys House, which was our...

I was not impressed with the experience of our stay as no one was there when we arrived and never saw anyone on Saturday and came down for breakfast at 8.55 and everywhere was locked even though I followed another note left on the door and the was still no one about so we had to leave and buy a...

We visited on recommendation from friends, and were not disappointed, we had a lovely room with dual aspect, very light and airy, clean and comfortable - a lovely "all we could eat" breakfast and very friendly atmosphere. Tentry Heys is in a great location, and we will definitely return next time we are in the area.

Myself and a friend stayed on Saturday night, the owner Barbra was lovely! and made us very welcome, accommodating us on very short notice. The location is perfect just a 5 min walk into the city centre situated in a very pretty and quiet area. The room was very large and clean. We went out into Chester on the night time...

The room was dirty worth thick cobwebs around the curtains and dirty paintwork. The shower room was terrible, again dirty, the toilet had beeo covered by a strip to indicate cleanliness. No it wasn't. A previous comment about it being not £100 a night room, well no it wasn't, but the least you should expect whether £100 or £27 a...

I have been visiting Chester for abut 15 years because I love it and all its history! I have stayed in various places, all ok, but some in the outskirts of the city where I did not feel safe or comfortable. Tentry Heys is situated in Queen's Park, a very exclusive residential area where you are not bothered at night...
