The location of this hotel overlooking the sea right by the beach and only a 10 minute walk to the town
The room of the hotels was very clean loads of wardrobes and cupboards and a lovely view of the sea. The beds are very comfortable
You get a beautiful breakfast in the morning and we ate overlooking the sea. The service was very quick polite and nothing was too much trouble
I would recommend this hotel to anyone as it was also good value for money

We stopped in the Membly Hotel to take advantage of their off-street parking and sea views. We had a premium sea-view room on the first floor with great views of Gyllgvase Beach. The room itself was adequate and clean although the bed wasn't very comfortable. The reception staff were pretty indifferent on arrival with nobody explaining the hotel facilities in any depth in fact with the exception of a couple of the younger staff at breakfast service most staff were quite surly and not welcoming. Breakfast was served partially buffet style with the addition of a cooked breakfast ordered at your table. Whilst we were there a coach party arrived and this hotel is probably more suited to large parties. A nice lounge and bar at the front as well as outdoor seating area and parking score positively for the hotel.

Although the hotel is a bit tired and dated, it was clean and tidy and the staff were all helpful and friendly. Our twin room (20) was on the side, but we still had a good view of Gyllingvase beach, a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. The room only had two power sockets (we later found a third hidden behind the bed), but the receptionist provided a multiway adaptor so we could plug in the kettle and tv at the same time. The en-suite shower room was tiny, but it was clean and everything worked.
We used the spa and sauna twice (book at reception), both enjoyable. Breakfasts were very good, although the chef had a quaint habit of removing the crusts from the toast! The eggs (poached with my full English) were cooked to perfection.
The only let-down in our entire four day visit was dinner the first night - we both opted for fish and chips and... let's just say the chef had an off night. But, full credit to the hotel, when we checked out they had removed the charge from our bill.
Overall we enjoyed our stay at Membly Hall, and would happily visit again.

The hotel was in dire need of updating, the decor was old and needed refreshing, the sitting room within the hotel looked like something out of a care home. rooms were clean a little dusty, the rooms need more lighting especially in the bathroom it’s very dark, I had to bath with the bathroom door open to get some light in. Very few plug sockets, with worryingly a multi plug behind the bed with the bed pushed up against it, no plugs near mirrors. Tea and coffee options but no fridge at all to store milk etc. Hotel is obviously for the over 60s
Breakfast options were bland especially cereals nothing that younger people would actually like. hot breakfast choice was very limited and got boring especially for a 3 night stay.
Reception wasn’t very friendly or welcoming, they only time they talked to you was when you said something first, your given your room keys and that’s it, but when we passed the cleaners in the morning they were always polite and friendly Location was the best part about the hotel right next to the beach, pictures on the website are very different to the hotel itself.

Seafront Hotel, clean rooms, parking for customers too. Wi-Fi is available & table service in the dining room here. The chef gives a variety of food choices on the menu daily including veggie meals & also when told provided a "gluten-free" mini menu daily for a guest. Food was hot & tasty every day & friendly staff quick to serve & clear away when finished.
The room service team only entered if a sign was placed on the door to cut down on unnecessary laundry production to save environmental energy a good point here.
Long lounge with sea views & outside seating & tables in the garden with canopy or open here. Reception manned & helpful with maps, leaflets & cards here too with lift for guest use too. A A 3 stars well deserved. Will go again.

We were on a Coach holiday and had been here before. It is on the sea front but we were on the side but could see the sea from the window. While the hotel was closed for Covid they did a lot of decorating and everywhere was clean and lots of jobs had been done. New doors on bathroom and wardrobes, painting and decorating too so that it all looked fresh.Meals were good too nothing too fancy but it was tasty, .
The staff were all friendly and helpful and never rushed you. One of them said that a lot of the staff were related one way or another and if one left there was someone waiting to take over which shows it is a good place to work.
We look foward to going again.

So the staff you could not fault at all; very helpful, very friendly and nothing was to much....But the hotel itself.....

My room was very tired indeed, looked like some form of face lift had perhaps started; bathroom was right out of the 1980's with a very poor shower and lighting; felt cold and unloved. Limited sockets for phones etc etc

Breakfast was in the main hall on brown plastic tables! and no real options; Eggs Benedict, Avocado on sourdough.... just pretty much plain old "caf" type breakfast which to be fair was cooked well, just not what people want anymore.

The bar area as someone pointed put previously was like Gods waiting room and really they should be removing chairs to help people socially distance! its so crowded it looks like a chair shop.

Our room had a wonderful view of the sea and we had our own separate access door straight into the car park. The room was extremely spacious and very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. One drawback was the room was situated behind the reception so at times it was quite noisy with people talking and doors slamming.

My friend and I stayed here on a 5 day coach trip with David Ogden coaches and I can honestly say that this hotel and staff were some of the friendliest and most helpful people that we’ve come across! Any problems were dealt with quickly and efficiently.
The rooms were spacious, clean and up to date with hand, shower and shampoo provided along with all the usual facilities - hairdryer, tea, coffee etc., there is also a hot tub and spa for a small charge.
The food was exceptionally good and lovely choices for breakfasts and dinner including a different fresh fish choice every day! The chef deserves complimenting as he certainly knows his stuff!!
Great waiters and reception staff and Matthew on the bar went over and above to make everyone’s time there memorable.
The hotel has beautiful views and a lovely sunroom overlooking the sea and is only a short walk to Gylly beach and Falmouth. There is a shuttle bus to town and a bus stop next to the hotel if public transport is needed.
I would highly recommend this fabulous hotel which is also open to non-residents.

There are Bus stops nearby but frequency not good. Distance from centre short enough to make a taxi not to pricey.

Not sure. There are steps into main door entrance, there is a small lift to all floors, but the upper floors are up & down an odd step or 2.
