A friendly welcome with a big, comfortable room is hard to beat. The room was quiet and spotless. Breakfast delicious with lots of options. It's always good to see quality local produce being offered. It's a great location, just a short (10 mins) walk to the town centre and harbour. I would happily stay there again - without a doubt.

Late midweek booking and could not find two rooms anywhere else within budget. Limited off street parking but good location. Pleasant staff but damp smell on arrival. No double glazing in rooms so on a busy road and nearby junction was noisy. No blackout curtains so room lit up every time traffic lights changed. Mouldy walls and battered furnishings although... I can highly recommend this inexpensive, friendly and comfortable hotel. The staff, headed by Susie and her daughter, are very friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. We were visiting the area for a few days and having undertaken some fairly extensive research, came across the Broadmead Hotel. The bed was very comfortable, and it was quite difficult to have to... From the outside the Broadmead Hotel looks similar to Fawlty Towers but there the similarity ends. It is a traditional building but inside clean and comfortable. The staff are very welcoming. I had a single room which although small was adequate for my needs with an ensuite,tv and fast broadband wifi. My comfy night there was followed by a really... More

We have stayed here twice as an overnight stop while walking the South West Coast Path. On both occasions we have been pleased with what is on offer. Broadmead is an old-school seaside town private hotel, essentially a large B&B. It occupies a pleasant, characterful Victorian villa in a pleasant and convenient location. It thus offers some very good sized... More

Stayed a couple of nights at this little budget hotel. Warm welcome from Owner Susie. We had a double room with ensuite and a tiny single with ensuite. Both rooms clean and perfectly adequate. Breakfast was extra but at £6 was well worth it. Vegetarian cooked breakfast was available plus fruit, cereals and yogurts.

Very much enjoyed a pleasant business stay in one of the single rooms. Paid a budget price so was quite happy with my little room, had everything and was spotlessly clean. Shower room fine, and wifi worked great. I got a little traffic noise, but this really goes away late at night. I did see a slightly larger single room... More

we arrived after a very long drive 3 hours before check in time which was not an issue. We were welcomed very warmly and shown to our large comfortable room. The bed was massive and so comfortable, nothing was too much trouble and we were largely left to our own devices. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Would most certainly stay... More

We stayed here for one night to watch the red arrows during Falmouth week. There is a small car park by the entrance with just a couple of cars so we had no trouble parking. The hotel is two converted Victorian houses with quaint furniture and a roomy feel. We were greeted by a lovely lady and were shown to... More

our room was damp and our clothes started to smell after only being there for a couple of hours - never mind four days! the mismatched furniture had to compete with the various patterns on the wallpaper, carpets, bedding etc .......... however, when I asked to move rooms the host quickly arranged this. This room was slightly better but under... More
