From the moment we step through the door the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean and we had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble.
My husband wasn’t arriving at the hotel until the second night me and my son were there. The owner of the hotel kindly let him have his drinks from the honesty bar on the house which was very kind.
The breakfasts were well organised and good choice of food. All breakfasts we ate were delicious.
The location is superb as the seafront is literally a 1 minute walk and town is only a 5 minute walk.
Although the car park only holds about 3 cars there was plenty of room on the road to park.
I would definitely stay again.

We stayed for a weekend and found the staff to be really lovely when checking in and if we needed anything they were always happy to help
The hotel itself is perfect for a walk into town or to pendennis Castle although it is a bit hilly around the area so wear comfee shoes
The breakfast was really delicious and the lounge area was nice place to relax
Our room was clean but a little bit squishy (.I know we booked a small double but it really was small.) it did have the usual extras like tea/coffe/water and biscuits and a lovely sea view. The size didn't worry us too much as we didn't spend much time in the room
Honestly the hotel may be a smidge on the expensive side but we would stay here again

Lovely friendly welcome.
The car park holds about 4 cars but there is plenty of spaces on the road outside.
Bottom of the road is the sea and amazing views. It is about a 15 minute walk into town.
Everything is in your doorstep, from amazing pubs, bars and restaurants.
The town is very big and has an array of shops. Great bus service nearby.
We had the deluxe king room. Very
Big room with walk in wardrobe. Hot water is fab and shower powerful.
Comfy bed.
I personally would not class the room as deluxe, just large double. Great coffee maker which was a lovely touch. Tea. Biscuits etc in the room.
Doors do not seem very secure but you do feel more than safe here.
Breakfast is 8-9.30 and is served in a beautiful breakfast room.
Service at breakfast was fantastic and extremely efficient.
Lots of cereals. Muesli and granola to choose from. Greek yoghurt and a fantastic bowl of fresh fruit.
Menu was impressive and cooked to an extremely high standard. Could not fault anything at breakfast as the team worked very hard.
Our best places for food were the Quayside Inn and the Chain Locker. Loads of places to visit easily by car or train.

The owners have without doubt invested some money on the website because the room and other area of the hotel didn’t look at all like the pictures on the website. Our “family” room was so small we could hardly move and the room wasn’t clean as you would expected especially during this Covid time. The carpet looked dirty, behind the TV there was dust settled there for months and the whole room and hotel looks like it needs some serious decorating. We were offered 50% discount for the inconvenient which was appreciated however the concerns remain on the cleanliness of the place. The staff was wearing gloves however we noticed the gloves were not removed at any time; from preparing breakfast to coming to the PC to deal with the check out. It would be safer to remove the gloves and wash hands each time... or impressed at all.

We stopped here during a quick visit to Falmouth - from outside it is nice and presentable with small car park at the back and other parking on the surrounding roads. The position close to the beach and the town is without doubt the best feature of The Lerryn. Inside we had a friendly welcome and their are signs and sanitiser available and a one way system for the dining room and entering and leaving the hotel. All good so far - but the inside of The Lerryn definitely needs some TLC most of the walls and communal areas could do with a coat of paint. Our room (16) had a nice view of the sea above the rooftops and was clean and adequate. Hanging rail for your clothes and ensuite bathroom and comfy bed. Our toilet cistern took absolutely ages to re-fill after flushing and was very noisy not good if you get up in the middle of the night. Also although not a lot of guests staying the hotel was very noisy and we could hear every movement elsewhere in the building. The shower was OK and not the worse we have had. Breakfast was disappointing not having any fresh fruit or cereal (due to Covid restrictions) and the cooked breakfast wasn't that good. Overall an average stay but unlikely to return again.

This hotel is an absolute gem. Love the style, skandi/retro, very clean and neat. It is a stones throw from the beach and an easy walk into town, great location. What more do you want. Well the staff are just lovely and a big shout to Matt & Lisa who really looked after myself and dog for 3 nights. As I had my beloved pooch with me they kindly set me up in the communal lounge (see photo) to wolf down my specially prepared, delicious vegan breakfast. On arrival I was upgraded to a double room with balcony and a view of the sea. The only negative is that the shower is a little weak. I would definitely recommend this lovely place and I will be back.

We had room 13, lovely decor, super bathroom. Tea coffee, proper kettle, luxury biscuits, bottled water, complimentary shampoo etc plus washing lotion in bathroom. Clean. Nice tv.
Breakfast was superb. Shame they ran out of fresh fruit.
Lovely garden and lounge with honesty bar. Strong wifi.
There are a few parking places, but free parking on road.
3 minutes from esplanade. Lovely walk to Pendennis peninsula and round to harbour. Local beaches (lots of students)
Restaurants within walking distance.
Good serious Covid measures.
Hospitality very good.
Water pressure not brilliant.
Room 13 could do with nets as could be overlooked.
Some people come back year after year and I'm not surprised

5 friends stayed in January paying £45 a night each for single rooms. All upgraded to very nice doubles as it is quiet at this time of year. Welcoming hosts, lovely big beds and plenty of water pressure from my shower. Breakfast is excellent with local produce and good coffee. Good tea/coffee facilities in rooms with biscuits and bottled water. Will definately stay again.

I stayed at the Lerryn for two nights. I'd booked a single room and was upgraded to a double on arrival. The public areas and the bedroom were clean and tidy and I was staying during late autumn they were warm and comfortable.
The hotel has a small car park which can hold about 4 cars and as it’s located in a quiet residential area there’s ample roadside parking nearby if necessary.
There’s a good selection of breakfast options, the cooked Cornish breakfast is excellent. The sea front is about 100 yards away and the town shops and Falmouth Town Railway Station are about a 10 minute walk.

This was our second stay at the Lerryn, the first being about 3 years ago . The facilities are good though the rooms need some updating.
Breakfast is really good and service is impeccable.
We were in Room 17 which was comfortable but one of the 2 windows did not open. The shower tray could do with a thorough clean as quite a bit of mildew build up.

Hi Sammy, when we stayed at the hotel we booked a deluxe room which had a very nice en-suite shower room and a balcony with lovely sea view. The hotel is run by a lovely family who I am sure would be most happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the room facilities. Hope this helps.
