Excellent value for money. Accommodation, three course meal and breakfast. We were upgraded to a sea view room, which was lovely. Wonderful view, very comfortable and tasteful decor. We had a walk to Maen Porth in the sunshine along the cliffs, followed by tea on the terrace in the sunshine. Then a swim in the pool and an excellent cocktail...

Absolutely no complaints about the hotel - everything you would expect from a nice hotel - nothing more, nothing less. Our room was clean, the decor neutral. The swimming pool was a little cool for a gentle splash around with my four year old (she was fine, I got cold), but would be fine for proper swimming. We loved hanging...

We stayed here on Friday, I live in Falmouth and can't believe I have never been here! We had a lovely welcome from the doorman who looked great in his traditional attire and made the whole stay feel that bit more special from the off! The reception staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was perfect, light, airy and...

I recently popped into The Royal Duchy Hotel for a drink with my daughter, the location is beautiful, you have the option to sit in the lounge or outside on the terrace. The views from the hotel are lovely! The service from the hotel was great and everybody was very friendly. Even little details like a colouring page on the...

My friend and I visited for coffee this week as we have done several times before. It was a lovely day, the location is ideal but yet again the service was not what I would have expected from this excellent group of hotels. Very disappointing indeed from my local Brend hotel.

Having stayed at this hotel previously, we were most disappointed this time and having been a previous customer, you would have thought that they would have made an effort, but sadly, no. We were given a room beyond the "nice" corridor, not the type of room that you would see in the photographs promoting the false rating. It had not...

We travel to Cornwall most Spring seasons as it is the time of my husbands birthday. We usually stay in a good hotel, as the weather is uncertain, & we need a pleasant base on a wet day. The Royal Duchy fits the bill Very well. The service in the hotel is certainly 5 star, but also very relaxed, particularly...

Spent a weekend here visiting family. The hotel is on the Falmouth seafront just a ten minute stroll from the lovely Pendenis castle. Our side facing room was comfortable, if a little on the tight side. In view the price differential for a sea view room wasn't worth it. We were out most of the time. Some corridors had clearly...
