Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Greenbank hotel really is quite the coastal retreat. When entering you are greeted with the warmest of welcomes and surrounded by beautiful art and picturesque scenery. The rooms are spotlessly clean with tasteful, seaside accents. Your every needs are met with local teas, coffees and biscuits as well as luxury bathroom products and robes and slippers. The harbour view rooms really are the cherry on the cake. We were lucky enough to sit in our window, eating breakfast, whilst watching a pod of dolphins. Every stay has been faultless and we look forward to many more.

A truly incredibly stay with the Greenbank Hotel for a function last night! Every part of our stay was amazing. We were welcomed by 2 lovely receptionists who were more than happy to help in any way they could. Once checked in we were delighted with our beautiful room, which was fully kitted out with a great selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. The room was huge and very clean. We woke up this morning to a beautiful sunrise and had the most delicious breakfast. The waiting staff were all super friendly and the food was beautiful. Absolutely recommend this stunning hotel and can’t wait to stay again in the future!

Yet again, the Greenbank has delivered exceptional service and accommodation. (Yes, this was our 12th visit.) Nothing is too much trouble at this hotel. All the staff are friendly and helpful, making our stay another memorable visit to this part of Cornwall. Our harbour view room was well presented and equipped, with stunning views out across the harbour. The food again was superb. And a special thanks to Bobby for our special desert request. We will return again very soon. R+N

Had one night at the excellent Greenbank hotel. Check in was great, the room itself, the Florence suite is a sight to behold. Tastefully decorated with all the amenities you could wish for and more. Wonderful views from the bedroom and a comfy bed. We were truly spoilt. We dined in the restaurant and the food was exceptional. The mushroom bourgignon pie was the best vegetarian dish I have ever eaten. Big shout out to all of the staff who looked after us, special mention to Will, great fun, attentive without being overbearing and always smiling, an asset to the hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Alex and Jade
