As a Cornwall resident and I was looking at taking my partner away for one night. Having been at a work event in the greenbank it was somewhere I had liked the look of and thought we'd save a compact journey or expensive taxi. I phoned to confirm on the morning of our arrival and had a positive exchange to understand the room, check in time and parking availability. We arrived just after 12 and found a space and confirmed with reception that this was OK. We then enjoyed a beer in The working boat and took a stroll through Falmouth and back again. Check in was easy and I was impressed how politely your team dealt with a particulary fussy customer ahead of me. The room was nice. Clean and spacious. The shower was great and the bed was extremely comfortable. Was a little bit noisy at bedtime due to a wedding but it wasn't too late for a saturday. Breakfast was really good. The staff were extremely efficient and attentive. Check out was easy with no queue. As a local we will definitely be back to Falmouth and the Greenbank. …
Wife and I stay here twice a year while visiting family in Falmouth. We've just had a regular visit in May. For us, two things always stand out: location overlooking Falmouth Harbour, and the professional and easy going attitude of the staff at all levels. The hotel manages to maintain a very high quality among all its staff...it's the same every time we visit. The only minus feature is that the menu does not change when we're at the Greenbank. For this stay we used the restaurant twice in four nights and the Working Boat once, so it was not a major issue for us on this visit. We already have bookings for November '22 and May '23, a good indication that we do like The Greenbank!
Such helpful, polite staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always on hand should we need any help. Although the hotel is not specifically suitable for wheelchair access, with a permanent wheelchair user we were able to use room 103 very easily. We were also able to reserve a suitable parking space near to the ramp access into the hotel. Only downside for a wheelchair user is that it was fully carpeted but otherwise fantastic. The bed was 24" high (Top of mattress to floor), doors were tight but just about able to get through (no scuffed knuckles!) The views were stunning, Room service was great. Restaurant service was amazing. Food was top notch. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff - we highlighted a slight issue in our room and they could not rectify it quickly enough. Absolutely amazing, helpful staff - they genuinely wanted to help. Would highly recommend.…
Fantastic day out - food was absolutely amazing and they catered to all the groups different requests that weren’t on the menu! Phil the deputy manager was a stand out - funny, full of banter and couldn’t have done more for us. He really made our day. Ryan also lovely and a good laugh and the lovely girl making our gin cocktails on the bar was so accommodating. Will definitely be back and telling everyone to experience for themselves. Thank you for a lovely day.
This was our third stay at The Greenbank. My husband booked it as a surprise stay for my birthday. As previous stays, it did not disappoint. Our room was amazing overlooking stunning views. The room contained everything we needed and was extremely comfortable. A good choice at breakfast. The staff couldn’t do enough for us …. I even received a complimentary bottle of wine to celebrate my birthday. We shall be back! Thank you 😊
