We stayed during the lockdown period just before the hotel fully opened so it was a unique time and we were concerned about how the hotel would handle all the restrictions. They did an amazing job, looking after us superbly, even laying on a breakfast delivered every morning to the room despite the kitchen being closed. We ate dinner under the quay marquee on a fresh spring evening, and the food was excellent. We stayed in the Lookout Suite which is a luxurious room with a stunning view across the harbour to Flushing. It was another perfect stay at this excellent hotel. thanks to the manager and all the staff for keeping us safe and best of luck for the next few weeks.

My partner and I stayed here on 30th December for my birthday and what an amazing hotel. We are local and wanted somewhere nice to stay and what a hotel this is, stunning! The staff were so kind and even gifted me with a bottle of Frizz complementary for my Birthday! All the staff were so helpful and kind. The room was so nicely set out and modern and the view was so pretty. All clean and comfy. Well worth staying here would highly recommend. Only small thing I would say is the bed was huge which was great but the bed was 2 singles put together which meant there was a seem in the middle which bugged me. However the beds were comfortable so only a minor note. We went to the working boat for a new and it was delicious. Thank you for the most wonderful stay!!

We stayed as a family, 2 adults and 2 children aged 9 and 12. We had the best possible time, truly excellent. The facilities are 1st class, the food was amazing and most importantly the staff are all welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless, modern and plenty big enough for all of us with an amazing view from the balcony. The hotel was COVID safe and not once did we feel uncomfortable. We will most certainly be returning, and probably for Christmas in 2021 ! Highly recommend

The Greenbank is set in a lovely location and our room was very nice, it had obviously been updated but still showed a few signs from the 1980's. Covid 19 precautions were well managed, which we were worried about before we travelled. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. Generally the decor of the hotel is old fashioned in a 1970/80's way. There were a few touches like new lampshades from a local shop, but could do with a freshen up.

Dear Tweez03, Thank you for your review and feedback following your recent stay at The Greenbank. Whilst I'm pleased to hear that you found the location and room to be of a high standard, I am surprised to hear your comments in regards to the decor appearing to be from the 1980s. We have recently undergone a complete renovation of the rooms and public areas to a very high standard. Of course, I will take your comments on board and thank you for your observations. I do hope that despite this, we can welcome you back to The Greenbank in the future as it would be a pleasure to have you stay with us. Kind regards, Ben Young Managing Director
