Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Spent four lovely days at Tregenna Guest house and we couldn't recommend it enough! We stayed in room 7 and it had everything you needed, towels, tea/coffee and fresh water and milk in the fridge, a/c unit, tv and a very large double bed, which is very comfy! The staff were really friendly and accommodating too. For breakfast there was a good selection of cereals, pastries, fruit and hot food! This is a great place to stay if you want to be walking distance to a beach or Falmouth Maritime museum or highstreet!

I arrived late in the evening due to train issues, but was only a few minutes walk from the station and a self check in so I didn't have to disturb anyone, the shower is electric and was lovely and hot, the weather not so good. The room was beautiful with a view of the docks, fabulous breakfast, lovely people, highly recommend and will book again 🙂

Amazing location and views. Full Cornish breakfast was spot on. Good old fashioned B and B experience with friendly hosts and chatty guests! Love it and will be back! Apparently I have to write minimum 200 characters so I'll just say again how great it was!

If you ever visit Falmouth, this is the place to stay. A lovely walk from the high street and with a great view over the harbour. Breakfast was delicious, too. The room was comfy and clean. I would definitely visit again.

I stayed at Tregenna for 4 nights and I had a very pleasant stay. The Guest House is in a quiet area 4 minutes far from Falmouth town station. My single room was clean, cosy and with a sea view. There were always a bottle of fresh water and making tea/coffee facilities with cookies. Cornish breakfast was delicious and staff was very kind, especially Louise, the owner. I'll surely go back to Tregenna if I visit Falmouth area again in the future!

The room had a view overlooking Falmouth and the docks, two nice armchairs placed in the window. The bed was comfortable and big, Nice shower, all set up ready for use. One of the biggest breakfast, I've ever had, set us up for the day. But most importantly the staff were so friendly and helpful, the Scottish lady who served our breakfast was fantastic, . So close to Falmouth town centre, easy walk into town. I would not hesitate to go back again.

At first sight, we appeared to be a long way out of Falmouth and our first expedition from the property appeared to support this contention. Once we found nearby food and drink, and duly fortified, we discovered a much shorter route back to the guest house and so felt much relieved! So, if walking into town, turn right out of the property, not left, and use the staircase at the top of the road to turn down to the quayside! This is a lovely property - but it is on a fairly busy main road. Our room was at the top of the building and (fortunately, perhaps?) very hot when we checked in. A fan is provided but leaving the windows open to cool the room resulted in an early morning wake-up from the traffic. There is a portable air conditioner but this seemed to make the room even hotter! The hosts are really great and very helpful of provided us with fabulous breakfasts to start our days! Don't use just the postcode to locate the property! When I tried that we ended up nearly half-a-mile away - use the full address!
