This hotel is perfectly located in a quiet road, 3 mins walk to Gyllyngvase beach and 15 minutes to the city centre.

The rooms we had on the top floor were very clean and comfortable and genuinely had sea views.

Hotel staff were friendly and organised, and we enjoyed the breakfast. All considered this was a very pleasant stay and good value.

Stayed recently for a couple of nights break. Lovely warm professional welcome from our host. Wow amazing chic decor this place is something else. Stayed in the Bay room excellent cosey decor with a huge bay window with sea views. Bed was comfy and room spacious as was bathroom with bath and proper shower with great pressure! Lots of ample storage if you were staying for a week or two. Free parking on site with propper sized car spaces if you've larger car. Secluded garden with plenty of seating..its a proper sun trap. Location, well litteraly 2 minutes stroll from a gently sloping beach and short walk to the Falmouth water front with all it's bars restaurants and shops etc actually got a taxi in and it was only £3.75. Breakfast was delicious with quality ingredients served pipping hot served in a gorgeous dinning room. Unfortunately due to a family emergency we had to cut our stay short but will definitely be visiting again soon.

A lovely bed and breakfast in a great location with private off street parking. To allow any arrival time we were contacted by the hotel on the morning of arrival giving us our room details and a code to a key lockbox. All of which made the arrival process very simple and straightforward.
It is within a 5 - 10 minute walk of Falmouth town centre and access to the local beach is 2 mins away at the end of the street.
Our room was on the first floor (Bay Suite) which was lovely and spacious, clean with excellent sea views. The bathroom was spacious, with a separate shower cubicle and a good choice of complimentary toiletries.
The breakfast was very nice, a varied menu which was cooked to order. To help with distancing breakfast had been split into 3 prebookable 40 minute time slots, although if we had and specific time needs the staff said they would do their upmost to accommodate.
Overall a lovely stay and we will definitely stay again.

This B&B came highly recommended but did not live up to the billing , firstly had to phone a mobile on arrival to be given a code for a lockbox to retrieve the key for room. Then had to pick a time slot for breakfast that wasn’t suitable, the room called the (Stracey) was advertised as a double which was anything but ! There is literally a foot of space either side of the bed . The bed was a three quarter witch was sagging in the middle., there was a 16” TV plonked on the mantle.
The bathroom was modern with a nice shower cubicle with an assortment of shower gels and soaps. It may sound as if I’m literally moaning about this place for no good reason but when they charge these prices you should be entitled to more than we received . The breakfast was adequate and finally checkout was basically us leaving the key on the desk and walking out , customer service is something they are obviously still learning about at night school but other than that couldn’t fault the place .

We are sorry to hear that you were so disappointed Bally A! You chose Stracey, which is admittely our smallest room, though not as small as you describe and the bed is in fact a standard double. Your suggestion of sagging is a first but we will of course continue to monitor all feedback. The key safe provides for Guests who have not given us a contact number or who are unable to respond to our calls. We are a small business and it enables Guests to enter without delay if the staff happen to be unavailable when the doorbell rings to announce arrivals who we have been unable to contact. We always prefer to speak with Guests beforehand so that we can welcome them in person, but sometimes it is difficult to reach them when they are travelling and our priority is to avoid any incovenience or delay for our arrivals. Staff are always on hand for check out however and to wish you a safe journey on departure, but perhaps you were hurried and we are genuinely sorry that we missed you! We are concerned about your comments regarding breakfast. What went wrong? As well as our highly acclaimed freshly cooked traditional breakfast options, we offer a selection of fresh fruit and berries, yoghurts, preserves, porridge, cereals and muesli. And we are always happy to cater for all dietary requiements and special requests! The use of time slots for breakfast is a precaution that was introduced as part of our determination to comply with covid regulations, ensuring maximum social distancing and comfort for Guests. It does sometimes mean however that not everyone can have their first choice of timeslot. We continue to review all of our covid precautions as things change to maximise the safety and wellbeing of all Guests. If readers of this response feel that perhaps we're being defensive, exagerating our offering or being misleading in any way, please scroll on down through our many other reviews. We do make mistakes - but we continue to excell at night school!

Lovely place, Covid secure. The location of the accommodation is great, a short stroll down the hill to the beach, and in the opposite direction a longer walk into Falmouth itself.

Our room was on the smaller side, and the bathroom (which is not the one shown on their website for the room), was corridor-wide, you definitely couldn't both be in the bathroom at the same time; shower at one end, sink in the middle of the corridor, and the toilet at the end. Fortunately, we visited Falmouth, and had amazing weather, the downside being our room was on the top floor, and a veranda roof just below the bedroom window, which was frequented by seagulls, so we couldn't have the windows open, just in case we had a feathered visitor. Therefore we had a couple of very hot sleepless lights. You’ll see from the photo on the website that the head of the bed is situated in the eves, which meant that one, there was a possibility of hitting your head when getting out of bed, two, it seemed to attract the heat, which meant we ended up sleeping with our heads towards the end of the bed.

Strangely the owners didn’t live on site, and so you had to telephone them, and they would instruct you as where the key to your room could be located.

The big plus was the parking, although the car park was relatively small, it’s always a bonus to have a car park on site.

Would visit again and recommend, however choose a larger room, and when the weather is cooler.

Based on the reviews I booked the room for one night. It lived up to it all. The rooms was top floor, “North”, well appointed with bottled water kettle coffee tea etc, small double bed, quality linen, bathroom great with Cole & Lewis toiletries (very nice). Fluffy towel and a face cloth too!!
Lounge with honesty bar and ice machine.
Breakfast room overlooking the sea, with fresh berries, cereal and excellent cooked breakfast choose what you want very fresh and excellent quality.
Host was so lovely nothing was too much highly recommended and will be back next time.

We stayed overnight in September after dropping our son at Uni. The room was spotless and really comfortable, everything was so clean and cosy with added extras which made our stay so much more enjoyable. The breakfast was freshly cooked and the best breakfast I have had in a B&B (and I've stayed in a few). I would definitely recommend and I will definitely be coming back.

Stayed for seven nights in July and really enjoyed our visit. We booked the garden room comprising modern en-suite with bath and separate shower, bedroom and good sized dressing room. The room opened on to private courtyard with table and chairs and loungers.
Very good service and staff very helpful and friendly. Full English breakfast excellent every day. Good car park at the property and very handy for the nearby beach.

Could not fault this hotel. Fantastic location, short walk from the beach. Rooms decor was gorgeous and absolutely spotless and had everything you could want, down to a shower hat and makeup removal cloth. Zara and the staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough. The full English breakfast was also very well received!

It was a 10 min walk on roadside footpaths down hill. Back Street routes can make it to the far end of town in around 20 mins. Beach 5mins downhill.
