Locals break . The best rooms stayed in them all over the years. Our favourites are THOMASINA and ADMIRAL BOSTON. This time we were with Admiral Boston. In this room the room has perfect sea view with a floor to roof window , raised area with seating so you can sit and watch the view with a glass of vino. The room has been revamped since we stayed last year. Soft pastels , pretty throw and cushions, bright new furniture which really made the room so much lighter and bigger . A fabulous asset ! Fab range of coffees and teas, still and sparkling waters. Complimentary shampoo and conditioner which contains essential oils and hand wash to die for . Do not think of squirrelling it in your luggage however as there is a reminder that these items will be charged to your card. The products can be bought at reception should you wish but are pricey at £20 for a hand wash . But they are lovely . Lovely touch of bath robes and slippers, sleep kit also. So the not so good was mainly the large group of photographers who were staying. Mainly on our floor and who got up at 0540 to photograph the sun rise slamming doors and chattering at normal volume, having no regard for us who are trying to relax . I phoned reception and threw a mini Karen at the poor chap who was lovely and said he would have a word with them. Again the restaurant was dominated by this huge table of probably 20. It was loud and the waitress bless her looked awkward when we were showed to our romantic table for 2. She apologised for the noise. In hindsight she should have probably suggested to seat us in the bar , which we would have asked had we realised it was an option. We learnt this the following day , and once we discovered the big group were booked in at the same time as us to eat, we went in 2 hours earlier to avoid them. The food is excellent. The staff are courteous and helpful. The breakfast is 5 star quality . The rooms are cleaned to a very high standard and the hotel looks sharp, modern, with charm and character. It was very obvious to us that everywhere had a revamp since our last visit and it made a huge impact !! Fabulous as always . Will be back next year ! Only rated 4 and not 5 due to the noisy guests .

The Lands End Hotel did not disappoint, the location & views are mind blowing. The staff the minute you arrive were so friendly and made you feel so welcome. Mary on Reception greeted us and was so lovely , she couldn’t do enough for us & my partner was chuffed to have Birthday chocolate's on arrival in the room . We booked the Penwith studios 3 for our stay , what a beautiful room and a stunning view , everything was immaculate and the interior was so well designed. We fell in love with this massive room. The breakfast was all you can eat from continental to full English , you won’t go away hungry . The walk from the hotel to The Minack Theatre is highly recommended but wear decent footwear and clothing , Thank you Lands End Hotel we will definitely be back soon Michelle & Mitch

As usual we had booked Lands End Hotel for our anniversary early on in the year , the hotel then booked in a large function when we had booked and we were told we could not eat in the hotel because of the function but they could reserve a table at a local pub. This didnt put us off as the views and quality of the establishment were great. During the year we were sent various emails stating about the function and do we want to cancel , each time i said no we were coming until today when an email came in stating again about the function and it would be noisy till late when the function guests would make there way back to the rooms. I understand Christmas trade is important for hotels but there was no apology or stay again at a discounted rate just do you want to cancel again. Obviously the hotel wanted our room for some of the guests from the function. Lands End Hotel and Heritage GB who own it should be ashamed of themselves. Its now too late to book anywhere special for our Anniversary as we go with 2 dogs and getting in is difficult.

Staff are doing an excellent job, no down beat faces in any area, reception and bar staff were exceptional. Room met all our expectations with great views, though with extremely wet and windy weather these were often obscured. Only disappointments were bar menu choice which was limited and on the night we stayed a function was being held and it was fairly noisy - we could have been notified of this.

Beautiful hotel on the top of beautiful cliffs . We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights . We had good time but ….. I felt upset how staff treated our old dog . I contacted this hotel few times before our arrival and I asked for room on lower floor. At first I had e mail that will be not problem at all , few weeks before our holiday I contacted hotel again to confirm it that definitely we are having room with good access for our old dog who had a operation on her leg . Staff promised to call me back but no one done it . I called hotel again few days before our arrival and I have been told that it is impossible to provide us room which I asked for few times. I was so upset as it was to late to cancel our holiday , so my big old dog for 6 days was struggle to go few times at day up on last floor. I nearly cried few times feeling so sorry for her . Staff from reception did not bother. I will never come back to this hotel after this terrible experience.

Lovely dog friendly hotel, super friendly staff. Buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. Beautiful cliff walks. Will definitely be back. Only minor fault , the room was quite small but the sea view more than made up for this.

Wow, what a place! My husband and I married at The Lands’ End Hotel at the end of September 2023. We visited one year before our wedding day to look at the hotel as a potential venue as there was an offer on their wedding packages at the time, although without the offer the packages are very reasonable and cover as much or as little as you require. Upon meeting Victoria, the venues Event’s Coordinator, and discussing the packages and what the hotel had to offer, we decided to book our wedding. One of the best decisions we made. Every detail of what we discussed was captured. Throughout the year leading up to the big day Victoria stayed in touch, ensuring all our suppliers were contacted and even arranged for us to spend an afternoon wine tasting to select our wedding drinks. During every visit to the hotel, we were listened to and offered expert advice on how to achieve the day we dreamed of. The hotel itself is beautiful, and of course the location is outstanding. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and come with complimentary toiletries (which are lovely), tea and coffee and water. I stayed in the honeymoon suite for two nights; the views are glorious from the room and the housekeeping team are fantastic. Our wedding was spectacular and perfect in every way. We are so grateful to Victoria, Jo, Todd, and the team. They are amazing and could not do enough for us and our guests. Most of our guests decided to stay the evening before the wedding and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were made to feel so special. Alex and the team created the most delicious menu for the wedding, the food was sublime, and there was plenty of it all day. Everyone was so complimentary about the food; it was truly luscious. With the package we chose, ‘You, Me & the Sea’ the hotels resident DJ, Paul, is supplied to play for the evening or to fill if you have a band, we hired a band for our evening reception and Paul got in touch with us to understand what music we would like in between sets, Paul nailed the brief, and we all danced the whole night! What a great disco! We didn’t have to think about a thing throughout the whole weekend, the day flowed seemingly without us noticing what was happening behind the scenes. Every detail was perfect, and the whole team went above and beyond to ensure our day was utterly flawless. We loved every single moment. If you are planning on getting married in Cornwall I would highly recommend getting in touch with Victoria. The team are amazing, service is exceptional, and the hotel is beautiful. It will be the best day of your lives!

Just spent 3 nights in this fantastic hotel. I have never been made to feel more welcome. Even the cleaning girls were very polite. The rooms were so clean and the breakfast was superb. I would like to thank the girl waitress who unfortunately told me it was her last day so much for her welcoming smile every morning. I will definitely be coming back again next March 5 stars.

Our experience at the Lands End Hotel was second to none! The hotel receptionist (Lynn) was friendly, welcoming, cheerful, smiling and a fount of knowledge. We would recommend her for employee of the week/month/year. Our room (No 7, Wolf Rock) was very small with only a wooden dressing table stool for sitting but the window recess had a wide ledge. The bed was a comfortable double which was a little cramped for us as we’re used to a European super king size. Bathroom was well appointed. Two gratis bottles of water and super tea bags- in four different flavours. Two dressing gowns which we did not use. The breakfast buffet was copious with fried eggs nice and runny, thick, tasty bacon, tasty sausages and hash browns. Even the coffee was good. Thoroughly recommended!

Made the mistake of eating here yesterday after a lovely cliff top walk with the dogs. No wonder it was pretty empty. Tables were filthy and not well maintained. Trawlerman’s salad and ploughman’s salad were identical except the watery Marie Rose prawns and the Yarg respectively. The pickled onions and pickled coleslaw were so vinegary they were inedible. And since they were swimming in it that made the chutney and the salad leaves very vinegary too. The ‘focaccia’ was dry and crumbly and one corner of mine was rock hard. The Yarg was delicious but at £16 a plate this is well overpriced at half the cost.
