You have to visit this pub. The building is great and dates back to the 1600s. Staff and locals are very friendly and the selection of ales , wines and ciders were plentiful. We visited in the early evening and sat next to a lovely roaring fire and could have stayed longer but we needed to eat and the pub...

Our first visit to Looe and would definitely return and stay here again. A friendly welcome in this traditional style pub with great real ale and atmosphere. The room was spotlessly clean with a four poster which was probably the most comfortable bed I have slept in. A great breakfast with plenty of juice, toast and cereals on offer. The...

As many folk have commented the hotel is very old but to me this is part of the charm. My room was a little on the tired side - lighting could have been better and it was awkward to charge all my electrical bits as the sockets tended to be slightly inaccessible. However a warm welcome, the pub part is...

Visited the Jolly Sailor a couple of times during our Christmas stay in Looe. A very interesting place dating back to 1560 with a history of smuggling. Staff and locals were very friendly and the beer was excellent.

Called in to this lovely traditional old English pub for a quick drink. Very friendly locals and staff. Good selection of ales and beers and wines . Don't think there is a food option though. No jukebox or fruit machines just how a pub should be.

This was a lovely 500 year old pub in a central position in Looe. The room was spacious, clean and warm, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was generous with plenty of choice, including a full english vegetarian option

Had the advantage of visiting during the Looe Literary Festival so enjoyed a talk about smuggling on the Cornish coastline and a bit of a sing along! The place was busy and they serve a good range of local ales and ciders.

This is a medieval inn just off the harbour in West Looe. It is wide with many cosy rooms and a log fire. On Tuesdays and Thursdays they hold Folk Nights. Most of the people were local people and they were very welcoming to tourists. The atmosphere was great. Other nights may be quieter but I'd recommend these 2 nights.
