Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed in the family room with a private, adjacent (not en suite) bathroom for 2 nights in August this year. We didn't have a view as the room overlooked the rear of the house but this was not a problem for us. The room was nicely decorated with coordinating bedding & furnishings. There was a comfy double bed, 2 twin beds, sofa, wardrobe, sink, TV & drinks facilities in the room - it was a bit of a squeeze but had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The bathroom is in need of updating and redecorating but was perfectly adequate and functional for what we wanted. Sandra, the owner, was incredibly accommodating and went to lots of effort to make sure everything was good for us, including our various dietary needs, to the extent of sourcing the particular veggie sausages

Sandra made my partner and myself feel welcome right away. We stayed in an amazing room overlooking the estuary. Had a lovely cooked breakfast exactly how we wanted. Only a 2 minute walk from amenities. Defo staying again next time we come down for a holiday. Sandra is the perfect host by far, highly recommended.

Two most enjoyable nights at "KANTANA Guest House"(30th & 31st May) Clean and cosy and near the town center (two minuets walk) very reasonably priced, A very warm from Sandra she is a very cheerful host and a great cook, the breakfast was superb. I would recommend this to all, and would not hesitate to visit again if in the area. All the best Hilary & Bryan from Eastbourne

I stayed at the Kantana Guesthouse in January 2013. Warmly welcomed by the hosts I got the double room on the first floor which has a nice view. Breakfast was made to order und perfectly cooked. For a one night stay definitely worth it.

We had a great few days, starting the day with a personalised brekky! We wish we could have stayed longer, so will definitely be back! Friendly service, sparkly carpet, clean and warm rooms with everything you need. Amazing views across Looe, close to town and train station. Had a fantastic time, and all for a very reasonable price over Christmas. Thank you Sandra!

It took alittle time to find the guest house, but when we did, we got a warm welcome from the owner, Sandra. The bedroom was very clean, and comfy. In the morning, Sandra made us feel very relaxed and the cooked breakfast was really nice. We would definately go back there again.

Nice, clean, convenient and very welcoming by the owner. In that it was not right at the harbour (but had harbour views), it wasn't as street noisy, but it was on a small road with day time traffic if you wanted to spend time on the patio.

The 4 of us stayed at the Kantana last new Year, having stayed in Looe before, we were new to the Kantana and I would highly recommend this guest house. We were treated to a very warm welcome and the owner could not have been more helpfull, the rooms were very clean and lovely and warm, and the breakfast would take some beating! If you are looking for a place to stay, you can't go wrong with staying here. Lovely place, ideal location, very impressive.

We have taken many a holiday in Looe over the years, but have never stayed at Kantana until last weekend. Let me tell you that it was an amazing experience, home from home infact. Sandra was so welcoming and honestly couldn't do enough for us. Our room was beautifully clean and very well appointed/equiped. Full English breakfast is recommended although you can have whatever you like - just let Sandra know the night before. Recommended :-)
