I stayed at the Kantana in may/june 2011 for 8 weeks and what a friendly atmostphere Sandra made me feel very welcome, there was a wide variety on offer for breakfast and all cooked to an excellent standard... if or when im back down in looe it will be the 1st place i phone for accommadation... once again thanks sandra ...Dave l,pool (new zealand)

The Katana is an excellent B&B that offers a first class service with very reasonable rates. I was made extremely welcomed by the owners and felt at home almost immediately. I had a very good night's sleep in a very comfortable bed, excellent. The full English breakfast was cooked to perfection and well presented. I recommend this B&B without hesitation.

Rick and Sandra are a very friendly couple and we were made to feel welcome the minute we arrived, and the room we were given was very nice with ensuite facilities. Tea and coffee in room and clean and comfortable with tv and freeview. The cooked breakfast we had everyday was lovely with more on offer if you wanted it. I’ve only had the pleasure of staying here twice so far, but this is one of the best B&B in Looe. The first time was over the New Year unfortunately I had to leave sooner then I intended. Rick sent me a text saying that he owned me the remaining nights I missed out because of my early departure. I was amazed that he was prepared to honour the three days I missed out (through no fault of theirs) I might add. This is a very rear thing to see nowadays. Sandra & Rick are a great couple with a very nice B&B that they run. The breakfast is outstanding as is the company; they love a chat if you meet them in one of the many local pubs. I would highly recommend staying here, it’s a short work from the town centre, just far enough to be a very quite place to get some sleep from time to…

Lovely family who run this guest house, so welcoming, very nice rooms decorated lovely,with tea and coffee facilities,tv with freeview, comfy beds. Great breakfasts,and wifi , we really enjoyed our stay, it was like being with family. Hope to return.
