We booked this fairly last minute and were in the area viewing properties. Danny made us feel extremely welcome straight away, he is very happy to share his extensive history of the area, which we found fascinating and he was really helpful in suggesting walks, pubs and restaurants. We found great places to drink and a lovely restaurant in Looe....

Arrived at Looe on the 2nd. January at very short notice Danny the owner prepared our room. He is a very down to earth and genuine person. His motto is "this is your holiday" and he bends over backwards to make it a great stay. The room was very Cosy, fastidiously cleaned. He offers a great variety of breakfasts only...

Recently stayed at this guest house. Was made extremely welcome and given lots of history about nearby places. The rooms are good sized and very very clean. There are tea coffee and hot chocolate available in each room along with fresh bottled water everyday. Also available was fresh fruit and home made biscuits. A very nice touch was the fresh...

B&B accommodation to a very high standard. Well appointed rooms, very clean. Good location with parking which is a real plus point. New owner who is new to area....huge passion for local history, enthusiastic and eager to please. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely revisit

just come back from a 3 night stay at Meneglaze. Location is ideal just 2 min walk from train station and 5 min walk from centre of Looe. Accommodation was clean, bed really comfortable, lovely breakfast and Danny the owner was really friendly and couldn't do enough for us.

We wanted somewhere to stay for a couple of nights in Looe and plumped for Meneglaze partly because of good reviews, but also for the free car parking. The car parking sort of sums the place up: in exchange for the convenience of the facility every morning there's a bit of give and take as people swap places so leavers...

Gave you some local history of the place and surrounding buildings, very interesting. Room was very clean and tidy with free wi-fi and TV. Breakfast was freshly cooked and nothing...

Visited for a 2 night stay at the end of October 2016. Received a warm welcome from the owner Danny who also gave us a brief history of the building and surrounding area. There is a pub at the bottom of the road about 80 yards away which serves food as well as being a convenient short walk away. The...
