Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

As a group of friends down on a fishing trip we stayed here for 5 nights and had a great stay. Very flexible around breakfast times as the tides dictate when you have to be on the boat and couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. Brilliant views across the bay with the sun rising over the far headland. Clean and comfy rooms with great breakfast.

Me and my partner had a lovely stay at Sawyers, was right on the road as in it took 5 steps to walk from the door to the road. One thing i would advise is an eye mask as the light shines through at the crack of dawn! Room was clean and spacious, the lock on the door did seem a bit dodgy but it worked. Overall a lovely experience and friendly staff would recommend x

One of the most welcoming places I have ever stayed at. Our room was outstanding with a wonderful view, even in the rain. Whilst there my husband fell ill, Tracey was an enormous help and I can't thank her enough.

Always spotless, with great views across the sea. My Sister has been going there for many years and I have now started to join her. We love it. Tracy and Ken are great, so friendly and can't do enough for you. Ken is a proper character, he's really funny. The breakfasts are really good. I can't fault the place and will continue the tradition with my Sister. Next is booked already.

Absolutely lovely room, clean with plenty of space and a fantastic view of the sea. A delicious breakfast with menu choices for you cooked option. The hosts were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The location was a little far from the town for my elderly mother, but for a regular visitor, within a 10 minute walk of the town. Ideal for those who are of good health or who have use of a vehicle. Easy access down to the sea, and some lovely walks, and awesome rock pools to explore. Looe itself had plenty to offer also. Would definitely recommend and would definitely visit again. Made my Mum's 80th birthday weekend very special (even popping a banner, balloon and card in our room for our arrival).

Ken and Tracey, were very welcoming, nothing was to much trouble. The cooked breakfast was excellent. The room was very spacious. For air conditioning we had a tower fan, and the windows were fixed pained. So there was no fresh ventilation in the room. When sat on the sofa, there was dust under the bed, apart from that it was very clean. Also would suggest a small mini fridge for keeping drinks chilled. As we had water and a bottle of wine and could not keep it chilled.
