Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Property's Favourite Review
Just spent a week at Looe bay was nervous as some of the reviews were not great, don't let them put you off, we were checked in quickly and the staff were great, the caravan was lovely really clean everything we needed, the park was clean and had all the facilities we needed, my family enjoyed all the entertainment the play ground and the pool, we had an issue with a leaking toilet the maintance staff were there before my daughter got back from reporting, all the staff we meet were helpful and friendly, it's a very good location to see lots of sights in Cornwall would defiantly recomended. Children's activities such as messy play and milkshake mornings were brilliant and very well organised along with amazing and friendly staff.

Great time, caravan was clean although photos on the website are pretty dated so should be updated. Place to park your car was super muddy and with the rain only got worse need more stones down. Swimming pool was decent didn't have to book but was advised. Club house was alright our daughter enjoyed the entertainment. Arcade was a bit naff as after 7 there was no prizes to win but as it was half term was expected. Takeaway was super expensive, 2 portions of chips came in a huge pizza box and was hardly anything in there this was a real shame. Staff weren't helpful just said it was management not them. SPECIAL THANKS TO JAZZ!!! Managed to leave behind a item and only realized as we got home. Spoke to Jazz and she has been amazing. Honestly so helpful. Sorted it out and have it on its way back to us. Can't not thank her enough!!

First time visiting Looe Bay Holiday Park this February Half Term. Heard positive reviews from relatives who use the site regularly. We thoroughly enjoyed our week away. The rain & mud was nothing a pair of wellies & a coat couldn’t solve! The site has plenty to keep the little ones busy with various children’s activities available in the arcade, entertainment venue, outdoors & in the swimming pool. The Starland Krew were a firm favourite of my daughters & she absolutely loved the children’s entertainment every evening. A special mention must go to Steff, who visibly stands out in his role. It is clear to see his passion & the attention, time & energy spent with the children is wonderful. I loved the personal touch talking about his own life experiences during the magic show, which as a family we can relate to. We ate in the restaurant for 3 of our evenings & do not have one negative thing to say. All dishes were delicious. The ice cream & crepes from Scoop are also amazing! Looe Beach is only a 5 minute drive away if you love the seaside, but there is also bus routes available too. We hope to visit again :)

Great few days at Looe bay slight issue on check in was resolved by reception staff quickly. Entertainment team were great included everyone and full of energy especially enjoyed Saturday night Bingo GA GA we have been to Looe bay several times and never seen so many people on the dance floor well done to entertainment team. Sunday night Steph magic show clearly means a lot to him and he shared his story well. Caravan was a bit dated in places but didn’t spoil our stay. Good to see the toilet open in the soft play building Looking forward to returning in October for Halloween

The friendliness of the staff absolutely make this park. Especially Jasmine on reception who made such a fuss of our dogs Honey and Harry every time she saw them. The caravans are clean and homely, could do with better access in wet weather - that would have led to a 5 star review. Entertainment only saw children’s shows but my granddaughter aged 6 was enthralled. Would definitely return dogs welcomed everywhere is such a welcome change

Caravan was clean on arrival. Every5hing that you needed. Staff were friendly especially the pool staff. Entertainment was great and really involved the kids. The only down fall was there were no pathways around the caravan and it was like a mud bath.

Let's be honest, the Cornish weather can be a fickle friend. Our recent trip to Park Dean in Looe started with grey skies and drizzles, which failed to let up until the moment we packed up to go home. However, it didn't dampen our spirits one bit! Why? Because the team at Park Dean, especially Emma the site manager, were absolute rockstars! From the moment we arrived with our 3-year-old with special needs, they went above and beyond. Emma wasn't just helpful; she was genuinely invested in making sure our family were comfortable. Accessible venue? Sorted. Endless questions answered with a smile? You bet! No wonder we felt relaxed and stress-free, which is saying something considering the park full of boisterous children (and grown-ups) on their half-term break! The rest of the crew were equally enthusiastic and friendly. The entertainment team were like human sunshine, illuminating the face of our autistic daughter (8) with their games and infectious energy. They might not have controlled the weather, but they definitely controlled the fun. Sure, the pool wasn't exactly beach weather, but it was clean and warm, and let's face it, an indoor pool is a lifesaver when the rain decides to join your holiday. Park Dean at Looe is defined by its people. Emma and her team made us feel like family, not just guests. They turned a potentially soggy trip into a warm, happy memory that even the rain couldn't wash away. So, if you're looking for a place where genuine smiles and helpfulness are part of the package, head to Looe Bay holiday park. Although, pack an umbrella – just in case!

Been to Looe Bay many times! The Park is looking run down now and needs attention! The lack of adequate gravel parking or even footpaths next to each van is ridiculous, it was a mud bath down the bottom end with cars getting stuck, trying to keep the van clean when entering was impossible, for a large chain like Parkdean I’m sure a few tonne of gravel wouldn’t break the bank! Another sour point was the ‘Late night Takeaway’ £7.99 for loaded fries, which came served in a 12” pizza box, (unsure why) we ordered two portions and both together, was barely a standard portion of chips, felt really short changed and asked for a refund immediately, I understand cost have gone up but chips aren’t expensive so this felt like a rip off, Disappointed 😞
