This pub's lovely in summer and we especially enjoyed a drink in the beer garden admiring the view. The sea makes for a beautiful view, whether you're watching it raging in a storm or its reflecting a cloudless sky! Fantastic location. I would definitely recommend it as it's a lovely cornish pub with accommodation as well!

The prix fixe is a good deal and we had a table near to the lit log fire. Good views of the sea while we enjoyed a bottle of Greek wine, Santorini, a crisp and refreshing white. There is a Cremant de Bourgoyne but no cava or prosecco. Food is delicious, especially the puds.

Arrived in a storm and taken to our lovely cosy room (5) on the top floor. Amazing views from 3 sides over the sea, the harbour and along the coast. Fresh milk left outside the door every morning at 7.30am so we enjoy a decent cup of tea/coffee. Great position for seeing the sights along the coast. Delicious food. Breakfast...

We stayed for a two night short break in the middle of winter to celebrate my husband's birthday. Our room was a mini-suite with a separate seating area. The bedroom and bathroom were beautifully decorated in contemporary decor with some antique furniture, and were well equipped. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room very clean. There are no TVs...

Having always wanted to visit .Mousehole I booked this place upon impulse. Upon parking at the front of this property we were unsure of what we would find upon entering. Narnia! A secret hideaway. This place is amazing! We had reserved the Island Suite and being at the top of the building we had fantastic views of the bay and...

We went there with three dogs - one a puppy - and family and friends. The staff were not phased by the dogs and made us all welcome. We sat at a table overlooking the sea and were glad we were inside, although there are lots of tables and chairs for the summer visitors. The food was a little disappointing...

Our family of four stayed at the Old Coastguard for two nights in late December. While we normally favour 'boutique style' hotels, we had an absolutely wonderful stay at this unpretentious but exceptionally charming hotel. We had one of the smaller rooms (our children slept on Z beds) at the back of the hotel but it was perfect. No TV,...

We were continuing our Christmas voyage through Cornwall after a stay in Newquay. We had reserved the Old Coastguard well in advance as Mousehole gets pretty hectic with the festive harbour lights and Tom Bawcocks evening on the 23rd. We received a warm welcome and our dog was given a goodies basket with blanket, bowl, and treats (there was a...

So atmospheric... Lots of detail. Exactly what you would want for the area. Short distance to St Michael's Mount and great to stroll around Mousehole. Supremely friendly staff and really delicious food and breakfast. Lovely fireplace and great, cozy pub.
