We have just got back from a 5 night stay at Treloy and we will definitely be coming back. I wanted a site that wasn't too big and commercialised but still offered all the amenities, we struck gold at the Treloy. The pitch itself was very generous, we were able to put up our 6 man tent, shelter and park our Van alongside with room to spare. There are 2 shower blocks and one toilet block, one of which is brand new and extremely modern, each cubicle was like having your own personal wet room! My only small gripe is that these blocks all seemed to be in the same area and not spread out. There is a well stocked shop, cafe and a bar that is open in the evenings. There is a small heated outdoor swimming pool, which my teenagers loved. The swimming pool is manned by a member of staff to ensure there is no overcrowding and is run very efficiently, 10/10 to the member of staff that I believe at times had to deal with some let's say fairly aggravated guests who weren't entirely happy with the time limit that was put in place to ensure that all guests had a fair amount of time in the pool. I think some guests forgot that we are still in Covid times! One night during our stay there was an occasion where some of our neighbours in another field decided that they would play their music at a level that maybe the whole site could appreciate, but this was dealt with quickly by the staff and was then was turned down to appropriate level.

The site is well placed and is only a 10 minute drive into Newquay, 15 mins to Watergate Bay and 20 mins to Hollywell Beach, both of which I would highly recommend.

Just a side note, it is extremely busy everywhere and I would suggest booking any activities or restaurant tables in advance. Fast food establishments are also very busy so be prepared to wait, but this is to be expected as more people are taking staycations this summer and also with many having to Self Isolate a lot of places are short staffed.

I want to say thank you to all the staff at Treloy, everyone we came across were very helpful and friendly and definitely made our stay more enjoyable, we will be back.

Just arrived back home today from a week long stay at Treloy touring park. It was our first visit to this site and needless to say it won’t be our last. The pitch sizes are more than generous … they are HUGE and mostly level, we stayed on Partridge 5 and we had more than enough room for our large set up, this pitch is a good spot for being close to toilets, showers, the park and dog walk area. Every member of staff we encountered from reception, maintenance, cleaners and shop staff were very friendly. The cleaning in the facilities are of a high standard, everything smelled and looked very clean all the time. The new shower blocks weren’t fully open as there was still some work being done, however we did get to use the new family bathrooms and they have been finished to a lovely high standard. We did also use the showers in the old shower block too and honestly they are also really nice. We had a few meals from the cafe and the food was delicious and reasonably priced for being on site. Overall we have had a wonderful week staying at Treloy and would definitely recommend this site.

We’ve just returned from a 6 night tent stay here, the place was just wonderful! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the pitch was huge. The food from the cafe was delicious and well priced for the portion you get and the shop was always well stocked. The new toilet blocks are so handy with having a toilet, sink, shower and changing space all in one cubicle! There was little to no noise after 10pm and everyone was very respectful of each-others space. We loved this place all round and will definitely be returning again next year!

The only thing I would say is the swimming pool can be a little hectic as there is no lifeguard. There were multiple children unsupervised and some of them were being very dangerous jumping/diving over other children not looking what they’re doing.

We were lucky enough to get a pitch on this lovely site after our usual campsite closed the shower block prior to arrival.
This site though was fantastic, a very friendly and helpful reception, huge spacious pitches, very clean shower and toilets, during covid 19 disruptions the cleaning team went above the call of duty to maintain cleanliness and safety.
The site is large yet but is divided into smaller more personal areas, allowing privacy but taking away noise and the feeling of being overcrowded.
The bar area was cosy and welcoming, and shop stocked as you would expect on a camp site.
We know the area well and the beaches were a short drive away for Newquay, Porth, Watergate bay, or Mawgan Porth.
Enthusiastic walkers could easily walk the 3 miles to the beach.
I would recommend this site to others and would definitely use the site again.
Thanks to all the team for a great 16 nights

We stayed at Treloy in order to visit Newquay and the surrounding area. The site is very clean and well maintained with plenty of attractive planting. The plots are a generous size and reasonably flat. We had a serviced pitch so had water and electricity at our pitch but I noticed plenty of fresh water points.
The shop, although small was well stocked, there is a little cafe and plenty of toilets, showers, laundry and dishwashing points.
There was a playpark which looked fun for kids and a beautiful, wildflower meadow with paths mown through it for walking the dog (who thought it was fantastic).

The only downside to this site is that it is in the middle of nowhere and a drive to get anywhere.

We stayed here for the 1st time this year for our family holiday in our family tent well what can I say this is a fantastic site and we feel we found little gem of a camp site and we loved it here and so did the kids.the site is very well ran and kept spotless 24/7 around the whole site inc the toilet/ shower blocks and the washing up areas. The pitches are very very spacious could easily put 2 of our tents on them even tho ours is a very big 6/8 berth tent. The staff were friendly and accommodating the pool was very clean as was the sunloungers which is an added bonus that are scattered round the pool. the site shop had just enough for your daily needs. The site also has a massive playing field for kids games etc also a bar on site that does have a little bit of entertainment in the evenings now and again and a games room for the kids and all this is facing the children's play area again perfect for family's wanting to sit ouside and have a couple drinks while kids play etc we will definitely be returning and re booking as soon as we can!!!!!!

We booked here for a camping family moon, formerly known as a honey moon, as me n Deb got married in 12th August. This is our first trip but my eldest daughter was here last year so we came on her recommendation.
We made lots of amendments to our booking as more family decided to come celebrate with us.
Everything we asked for was accommodated and got quick responses on email. The ease of booking and paying was brill.
So when we arrived I was amazed at how clean this place is. They were really friendly at reception and very clear with the do’s & dont’s which for us is brill.
So pitched up, massive pitch which was just what we needed. Good ground.
Pool is amazing, spent almost a full day on there. Not too much chlorine either which was ace.
The cafe is a superb place to eat. Lovely people, great food and not expensive. If your a burger fan try the Treloy loaded. Everything cooked to order.
Shop onsite not expensive either.
The main shower blocks are amazing for a touring site, I would be happy with these in a hotel to be fair.
Again spotless. Just a word to people who visit, clean up after yourselves though, there are floor things provided and toilet brushes it just takes a few seconds. Keep these the we want them and I just wish that when you press the shower button it would stay on a bit longer, but I get it.
Pot washing and even the chemical waste was clean. Great thinking from Treloy regards dogs as there is a dog wash area on the side of the main shower blocks to get the sand out their fur, warm water too.
Everyone we encountered were polite and friendly.
We thought the quiet time was from 11 so at about 10:15 a guy came round and asked us to keep it down, fair enough. He was pretty okay about it and we didn’t want to break any rules etc. Just wished the pitch next door got the same who came at day 5 and partied until gone 11 but maybe I could have said something.
So in a nut shell this is an amazing touring park that blows quite a few others out the water and it’s not too bad priced for what you get. We had the best holiday we have had here, so much we are making this our yearly go to place. The people are great, the food is great, the pitches are brill, the site is spotless, the amenities are top and it’s all value for money.
Thanks Treloy you gave us an amazing honeymoon.

Thank you for your lovely review! It's great to hear that you had the best holiday, and enjoyed the pool, cafe, shop and found the shower facilities to be amazing. We're pleased that you liked the spacious pitches and found the staff friendly too. In regards to the noise, quiet time starts at 10pm, any issues can be reported at the time to the site warden or security. Thank you for your feedback! We look forward to seeing you again next summer!

We stayed here august 2021. Couldn’t fault the site, pool excellent and clean, shop friendly and well equipped with cinnamon buns to die for!

The toilet/ showers block had clearly recently been redone and we’re amazing, like luxury hotel facilities snd we’re absolutely spotless. No problem with hot water!

We didn’t use the cafe so can’t comment on that and the on site bar was a little on the pricey side, but to be honest I think that’s deliberate as I don’t think they want lots of people getting drunk and hanging around the bar!

It’s a very family friendly site and I felt totally safe letting my kids do their own thing on site.

The location was great, and we used it as a base to see the whole of Cornwall!

Would definitely return!

Stayed here for 2 weeks from 31st July. We stayed on a pitch in Dove section of the site. The grass area of our pitch was quite long and this and our daughters pitches had quite a bit of dog poo on it. This area seemed quieter than other areas which was good.
The toilet and shower facilities were kept clean with 2 deep cleans a day.
Pool was good.
The cafe provided takeaways which were delicious.
The shop sold the basics. Didn’t go to the bar area.
The 2nd week more arrived with older children who caused some havoc. Younger kids bikes were being taken and ridden off by the older kids. They also took over the play area. Which was a shame.
Good washing up and laundry areas.
Guy in reception a bit grumpy.
Paid £5 per week for WiFi which was a complete waste of money as it was useless.

This is one of the best campsite we have used. We had our tent and stayed on a pitch in the swallow area as recommended by my sister (touring with their caravan). All the pitches are large and plenty room for large tent/caravan plus awning and car.
The on-site amenities are excellent, toilets, shower blocks and washing up facilities are always clean. There’s even a washing area for wetsuits and dogs shower.
On-site shop offers a good selection of food, camping essentials. Is right next to the outdoor heated pool so convenient to buy a pasty/sausage for lunch and snacks.
Their smoothie and shakes are great with a freshly baked pastry in the morning.
We used their onsite cafe for dinner once, had pizza and fish and chips and they were cooked nicely.
The location of the site is within easy reach to many local beaches and cycle tracks.
Staffs are alway cheerful and friendly.
Would highly recommend.
