Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Dear Alison, thank you so much for our lovely stay at yours. Couldn't be better. Beautiful house, great location and lovely host. We'll be coming back. Newquay is always a must-see, and a stay at Chynoweth Lodge makes it worthwhile.

Dorthe and Frank.

We come twice a year and stay in different rooms and buildings. Always clean and Alison is so welcoming. 5 minutes from the front with stunning scenery and a 10 min walk to town Will return as long as my health allows

Stayed for 4 nights in a self catering small house at the rear of the property. The house was very well furnished and very clean. It was cosy and private within walking distance to the local beaches and town centre. The owner Alison was very nice, unobtrusive and available if needed. I am very likely to stay here again if I return to Newquay.

First time my wife and I have been to Newquay;as usual trawled all the sites looking for a Bed and Breakfast. You read all the reviews and take your chance. The reviews for Chynoweth Lodge seemed very good,so we booked there and then. From the moment we arrived Alison and Glenn made us more than welcome, nothing was too much trouble for them.Tidy comfortable room, lovely atmosphere, even Daisy the dog was welcoming!
Location was perfect for walking into town, and for long walks along the beaches or cliff tops but still a quiet road. Breakfast was excellent and efficiently served. They recommended a lovely restaurant called Little Kahuna it was superb! They even managed to arrange a sunny day, the only one this Summer!! This couple are great ambassadors for Newquay tourism.

What a gem of a find the hosts Alison and Glenn absolutely made my stay so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Room I booked was a single but was much larger than other singles have stayed in before thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would heartily recommend anyone to stay and will definitely be returning. The full English breakfast or even special requests well catered for especially Glenns omellettes were a real treat

We usually stay with friends in Newquay when we visit but due to their house being filled with family wedding guests for this weekend just gone,we were forced to look for alternative accomodation. Well we found Chynoweth Lodge on the internet and the with the welcome & hospitality that we recieved from the owners, Glenn & Alison, we could have just as easily been staying with our old friends.
The booking was easy, the rooms comfortable & clean, the breakfast menu was generous and any request that you made to Glenn & Alison was greeted with a genuine smile.
It's in a quiet street but also in staggering distance from the great western hotel.
Highly recommended !!!

I wish all B&B's were like Chynoweth Lodge. I picked this B&B based on the reviews I read here on TripAdvisor and have to say that all the positive feedback is justified - the welcome, spotless accommodation, breakfast choice & quality, location, free parking, etc. Alison, Glenn & family are what make Chynoweth Lodge a great place to stay and I hope to return for longer next time. Thanks for being so kind and welcoming to a lone photographer!!! Tim.
