We have just returned from a 17 day stay at Wenden and everything was perfect as always. The bedrooms, dining area and common areas were kept spotlessly clean and completely Covid compliant, meaning we felt completely safe and relaxed. Cilla's breakfasts are delicious and there is always so much choice. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

Our stay at the Wenden Guest House was made lovely by the host Cilla. Her enthusiasm and hard work in looking after us was a lovely touch. We arrived to a nice welcome and shown where we can park the car for a small £2 a day charge, just a minute walk away. The room was very clean and had all you need for your stay. Breakfast every morning was lovely and you had a choice of what you could have. The location is about a 5 min walk to the lovely Great Western Beach and about a 25 min walk through a lovely golf course to fiscal beach. We like to visit different places when we go away for short breaks but if we ever return to Newquay we will be sure to try and get the Wenden booked.

Having just spent 3 nights at the Wenden Guest House in Newquay hosted by Cilla I would definitely recommend a stay here... It was lovely!! The rooms were extremely comfortable with a large en-suite and a lovely powerful shower. Everything you could need is in the room including plates, cutlery, tea, coffee, a TV etc. The rooms are beautifully decorated and a lovely relaxing place to unwind after a day sightseeing or surfing.

The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options and little extras like fruit and yogurt once downstairs. It’s brilliantly organised and service was always very quick with the added bonus of having a natter to a very enthusiastic and friendly host. The food was lovely and always fresh... we were lucky enough to get Cillas home grown tomatoes which were delicious! I am Coeliac and the gluten free options were amazing... Cilla and Mike were very accommodating, I could have any breakfast on the menu which isn’t always possible being allergic to gluten, I was very impressed.

Overall it was a fantastic stay, the owners made us feel very at home and accommodated our every need. We will definitely be returning here the next time we’re in Newquay.

We have just returned from a 17 night stay at the Wenden and had an amazing time as always. Our room was very comfortable and kept spotlessly clean. Although Cilla no longer does breakfast in the dining room, she will bring a choice of sausage, bacon or egg sandwiches to the bedrooms, as well as omelettes and toasties, on request. We had a table, chairs, coffee machine, kettle, fridge, supply of biscuits in our room, as well as plates, cutlery, glasses, etc, in case we wanted to bring back a carry out meal. Newquay was busy and a lot of our favourite restaurants were closed but we still managed to find places to eat and enjoyed our holiday. We are looking forward to our next visit. Thank you Cilla and Mike.

We have just returned from another 17 night holiday at the Wenden. Everything was perfect as always and our room was kept spotlessly clean with lovely fluffy towels. The brekkie was delivered to our room every morning and I can highly recommend Cilla's omelettes! We can't wait to return next year.
Thank you Cilla and Mike.

We had such a lovely 3 night stay at Wendon Guest house. Cilla greated us and showed us where to park and helped with our bags. The room was spotless and very pretty, there was a coffee machine and a huge choice of teas provided too. Cilla was so friendly and helpful and has really put alot of thought into providing a lovely place to stay. Our room was serviced every morning and clean towels provided. It is brilliantly located for a short walk into town and the beach. We can't fault it at all and would definitely book again.

Me and my partner booked this spontaneously the week before as it was on an offer through booking.com. Honestly best thing I’ve done.
It’s in the perfect location for Newquay town, easy to find. You get your own key to come and go as you like. Breakfast to the door in the morning (which is an extra payment) but the food is of excellent quality so didnt mind at all. The room is a perfect size and the bed…. Well ridiculously comfy and slept so well both nights both of us. Cilla was very welcoming and kind. Would happily come again. :)

Amazing find. Booked earlier in the year, cilla was so helpful. Parking is rare so good to have a space. The room was spotless and airy. It was a big room with ability to store milk or bring takeaway. Breakfast available….omelettes!! Perfect

Turned away at the door by the judgemental owner - very rude. A couple looking a quiet place to stay but obviously didn't fit her image. The door was practically slammed in our faces. Stay away if you want a pleasant holiday.
