Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very friendly hotel. Really nice staff here and very comfortable rooms. Right by the train station and some beautiful beaches. The rooms are spacious and beds comfortable. There are also plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. There are also buses to nearby beaches.

I want to mention Regina, a staff member who gave excellent service, she was kind and patient with the kids, very polite. The service I received was absolutely amazing, The manager Jay was helpful and accomodating, all our needs were met. He was highly professional and efficient. Definitely I place I will be visiting again. Lovely location, all amenities are close by. I want to also mention Regina, another staff member who gave excellent service, she was kind and patient with the kids, very polite. Also Catherine who gave great service too.. I have to say I never been on holiday somewhere, and found all staff members work as a team and provide excellent service...

We stayed for one night staff were helpful and the travelodge was clean and well maintained we had a sea view room which was lovely we did not use the cafe. There is no on street parking so read the parking details on the site and go to where you are going to park first we didn't and ended up in the aldi car park then you have to go into aldi and put in your reg number if you don't you will get charged I think you had a max of 2 hours so we parked in the Manor long stay car park which upto the 31st March was 6 pounds for 24 hours and 5 to 10 minutes walk from the travelodge you can use cash and card here

Just returned from a very lovely three nights here. We were lucky enough to have a room with a stunning view over great western beach. The room was clean and had all we needed and the staff were helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Comparatively I don’t think you could beat the value of this room. I’ve never stayed in a room with such an amazing view for under £40. It will definitely be our first option of Hotel for short trips to Newquay going forward. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful day and hope to see you soon.

Bed caused me to have a bad back and sore hips after a single night trying to sleep. Reception were too busy closing the desk to go out and smoke to check us in causing us to wait. Only positives were a clean room and friendly cafe worker.

The room in itself was fine seemed to be clean overal, reception team was lovely and helpful. However breakfast was a big let down understanding it’s probably a busy hotel and being a all you can eat breakfast you do expect standards a bit lower however the food itself was not enjoying at all mushrooms were hard, scrambled egg was overdone, juices were very weak and tasted odd. If I was going back I would happily stay again just would miss out on the breakfast.
