Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a fabulous stay. We were 2 couples and the rooms were spotless, clean and very comfortable. There were little touches in the rooms which made all the difference, very home for home but with the standard of a good hotel. We were made to feel extremely welcome on our arrival. Location is great we walked into town and beaches back several times each day. We would definitely stay here again and could not recommend this Guest house enough. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We had an amazing overnight stay here - Leanne was incredible, the place far exceeded the photos and would definitely come again. Highly recommended. The room was clean, bed comfy, everything had been brilliantly considered and well appointed including wireless chargers by the bed and a very friendly welcome!

Perfect. The room was spotlessly clean. The bed was more comfortable than my own at home! The hosts were very friendly. The location was ideal, very close to beaches and town, but still really quiet. On and off street, free parking. Everything you could possibly need was in the room waiting for you including beach towels. We can't wait to come back.

My husband Son and Daughter-in-law stayed here 5th. to 10th. September 2021. Our hosts Leanne and Mark were were always on hand and very welcoming. Rooms were spotlessly clean with tea and coffee tray complete with snacks. Cutlery and plates were provided in case you order take always to be delivered. Toiletries provided and kept well stocked in the rooms. Due to COVID rooms were only cleaned when requested but plenty of cleaning essentials provided in the rooms.will have no hesitation of returning to this lovely guest house.

We spent a lovely week in Newquay, Mark and Leanne were wonderful hosts, very friendly and helpful but not overly fussy! nothing was too much trouble, very helpful and approachable! The rooms are very clean, beautifully decorated, modern and cosy, with tea / coffee making facilities and everything needed should you decide to order a take away to be eaten in your room or sitting outside in the sunshine at your own allocated picnic table with a brolly! The location of the guest house is fantastic, you can stroll into Newquay or down to the beach, ideally located for a bit of Paddleboarding at Porth beach followed by drinks and dinner at the Mermaid beach bar! Plenty of off street parking, we will definitely visit again soon.

Stayed at this guest house, the hosts were very welcoming and the room was super clean and tidy. A stone’s throw from the beach and a brief walk from Newquay town centre. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice quiet location but close enough for the hustle and bustle. Plus the lusty glaze wedding venue is just around the corner! So plenty of rooms for all the family. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Easy to find on main route into Newquay, ideal for walking into town, about 20 minutes. Also able to walk to Porth beach from here, about 20 minutes in the opposite direction, well worth the walk as the scenery further round on the headland is breathtaking. The room was immaculate, really comfortable king size bed and light and airy room, number 1. Breakfast was lovely, and you can choose to change your order the night before. The landlady is very accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. This b&b was a great base for travelling around the south tip of Cornwall, central and easy access. We are definitely coming back to stay here, it ticked all the boxes!

This was our 4th stay here with Julie and Jim. As always our room was clean, fresh, comfortable and had everything you could possibly need and more. Breakfast is always plentiful and delicious to set you up for the day. We were provided with a drying area for our wetsuits and boards not to mention the use of the B&Bs own beach towels. We are revisiting again in a few weeks to catch the last of the season and would not dream of staying anywhere else in the Newquay area. Thanks again for helping us build our memories guys - see you in a few weeks!!
