MOR is at the top of a hill looking down onto the sea, so suffers from a very windy location but offers good views from the front of the hostel. The rooms are basic, and ours was very cold when we arrived. Nothing is provided (apart from toilet roll!) so I'd recommend bringing your own towel. The room didn't feel... More

All good, low cost, basic and clean. The staff were great, the breakfast was simple but loads of it. Loved the bar and lounge area, great for chats and catch up. very friendly place, wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

My husband and I stayed here for one night on the first of the month. Shocking you have to pay for towels. Room very basic and not very clean. No sink in the bathroom! Bed so lumpy it was unbearable and to put the cherry on the cake neighbours came in late and decided to keep everyone awake with there... More

This is the most expensive hostel i have ever stayed in. There were no towels provided (except at an additional cost), and i have never stayed anywhere that hasnt provided towels before! It also had no TV in the room, which again, is the first hostel ive encountered that didn't! Breakfast was a shambles, no clean mugs and the water... More

Came down for our friends hen do. There were 7 of us over two rooms, quite close to each other on the same floor. Rooms are clean an comfortable, with bunk beds. Room was ensuite with a shower but an extra bathroom was just round the corner, which at times came in handy with 4 girls! Fantastic breakfast, help yourself... More

Got to admit I was slightly apprehensive about staying in a hostel but I'm so glad we did. The staff were lovely, helpful, friendly and couldn't have made us feel more welcome. The rooms were very basic and slightly small but what more do you need than a shower and a bed when you're on a hen do (could have... More

This lodge is as described, hipster, interior that draws your eyes in and it's a funky little lodge. The views to the beach are extraordinary and it's a short walk to the beach and shops. However, it was a birthday treat for me and was meant for a relaxing weekend. My partner didn't read any reviews before booking and we... More

I stayed here for a couple of nights with two friends. Shower room was tiny and beds were a bit creaky but it's fine for a few nights, so long as you're note expecting anything fancy. Bit noisy at times but that was ok for me as I'm a deep sleeper. Great location, short walk into town and not far... More

Me and my partner stayed Monday to friday. The lodge is very close to Newquay town centre. The staff we're brilliant and told us of the perks of the place too. Breakfast wasn't too bad you had choices of cereals, toast, tea and coffee. I would say if your looking for a luxurious holiday this isn't a place to go but... More
