booked a suite for 9 days as soon as lockdown ended. great value and very close to fristal beach and directly oppoiste the golf course.

the car park is big enough for 4 cars and theres a long stay across the road which we used a few times which was no issue.

the room was spotless, all new bathrooms and beds etc. the house itself has being refurbed from top to bottom in the last few years but still carries some 70's quirks which we liked. the glass door to the breakfast room still carries the 'dining room' sign!

magda and chris where great hosts. friendly and helped out with some surfing lessons and where to visit. food was amaizng and all cooked to order, covid safe distancing etc.

would highly recommend. at 400 mile away and a 7hr drive it made the trip worthwhile to be in such a quality resonable priced B&B

My sister and I have just returned after a few days spent at the Lyncroft B&B in Newquay. We both agreed that the accommodation and service here was excellent.
The double room allocated to us was very clean, modern and extremely comfortable. I must say, the bed was probably the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced at any b&b I’ve previously stayed in anywhere! The facilities on offer to us within our room were also outstanding. A kettle with coffee, tea and hot chocolate was waiting for us, along with biscuits and fresh milk which we found in our mini fridge. We were also delighted to find that our tv had a really good selection of channels to choose from. Our top floor window offered us beautiful views of the sea and our en-suite bathroom was clean and spacious. Complimentary toiletries were supplied and gorgeous big fluffy white towels too!
Breakfast was very tasty, with fresh fruit, nuts, yogurt and a selection of different cereals on offer. We could also choose from a list of hot breakfast menu options which were cooked to order and very delicious.
The hotel was in a great location, very close to Newquay’s Fistral beach and a short walking distance away from the town, shops, restaurants and the bus station.
Dogs are welcomed here too, so a fantastic choice for those of us with furry friends to consider!
I have to say, my sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely consider staying here again.
Thank you Magda and Chris for a very comfortable, friendly and enjoyable stay. Hope to see you again soon.

Just got back from another fantastic stay at the lovely Lyncroft B&B in Newquay. Chris and Magda are such wonderful & friendly hosts who go out of their way to accomodate you. We stayed in room 2, a seaview double with ensuite. The room was spotless...just perfect for a couple, nice comfy bed, great view, mini fridge with fresh milk, nice tea tray (with biccies!) TV (with Netflix!) & plenty of storage . The ensuite was a great size, very clean with a double shower tray, big fluffy towels and complementary toiletries. We had a fantastic breakfast every morning which set us up for the day and especially loved the fresh fruit/granola/nuts and Greek yoghurt selection as well as the full English menu and fantastic butter ;)
The B&B is in a perfect location for Fistral beach as well as exploring the town centre for shops and restaurants. We really appreciated the free parking bay at the back of the B&B, we barely used our car while we were there so saved lots on parking. Thanks so much Chris and Magda, we will see you again in future and really hope to see you at some point on Channel 4 ;) Xx

Chris and Magda are fantastic hosts. They are both friendly and engaging and make you feel very welcome in their home. We stayed for 3 nights mid week with our 2 dogs and had a lovely room on the top floor with a sea view over Newquay golf course and Fistral beach (room 5). The room was clean, well equipped with an en suite bathroom and the bed was very comfortable. There was a great selection for breakfast with vegetarians really well catered for (which maybe C&M could make more of on their website). We particularly recommend the Newquay toast and the halloumi and tomato eggs Benedict. Dexter the boxer dog is friendly and is obviously used to different dogs coming and going from his home. The location is absolutely perfect, a walk across golf course to Fistral one way or similar easy walk to Towan beach or the pubs and shops the other.

Staying here really made our short break special.

We’ve just returned following stay with our almost 2 year old toddler and stayed in the junior suite, room 1. The room was perfect to give the little one his own space while not being separated from us.
The guesthouse is in a great location for the local beaches and attractions. Parking wasn’t an issue because we were lucky enough to get a slot behind the bnb and had little need to move the car due to the bnbs location. There were regularly spaces available however. Breakfast was amazing and our fussy little boy was also well catered for.
Our only slight issue in Newquay was finding toddler appropriate lunch/evening meals for our little boy beyond the standard fish/nuggets/sausage + chips. Thankfully there was a Sainsbury’s close by and Magda kindly heated up a toddler microwave meal for him.

Room Tip: Newquay zoo was great, the aquarium wasn’t the best but ok for 45 mins out of the rain.

Loved our stay here and will definitely be back. Chris and Magda have been brilliant hosts this past weekend, from helping us with parking, recommending excellent places to eat out as well as sorting our vegan breakfast - which was cooked to perfection.

The owners friendly dog Dexter is the reason we found out about this gem of a b&b and we visited with our two chihuahuas. It’s lovely to have somewhere so welcoming when you have the pooches with you.

The location is spot on, just a short walk to the many beaches and best restaurants. We stayed in room 3 which had a spacious seating area, fridge, tea and coffee plus Magda had thoughtfully included oat milk in our room ahead of our arrival. Didn’t have time to use the lounge area but it was nicely decorated.

I’m not sure how we haven’t stayed here sooner. It felt like a home away from home and we had such fun that we forgot to take any pictures!

Thanks again for being such wonderful hosts! See you again soon.

A short walk away from fristral beach, pubs and restaurants and the shops. Staff here made me and my mum feel very welcome, very attentive giving us recommendations for the local area which really did make our experience in Newquay a memorable one 😊 Great value for money, the rooms had a lovely beach vibe to them and breakfast fit for Queens. Definately will book here again.

Situated facing the fistral coastline making it a convenient location for the beaches and town facilities is this gem of a b&b The Lyncroft. We stayed with our dog Milo in a very comfortable and clean room. Cleanliness was an important feature for us as my wife is immunosuppressive. We were more than satisfied in that respect.
Our welcome by Chris on arrival was 2nd to none, providing plenty of local information about local pubs, restaurants etc. as well as a genuine interest in us as people, exchanging life's experiences.
The highlight is breakfast time and with the choice I can guarantee you'd never be disappointed. Cooked to a very high standard by Magda - superb.
Highly recommended- the experience and Magda and Chris.

If you are looking for a great B&B in Newquay look no further than the Lyncroft, the hosts Chris & Magda go out of their way to make you feel at home. The room we had was lovely with a king size very comfy bed and an excellent en suite, mini fridge with fresh milk and tea & coffee making facilities. They are dog friendly and quite a few people took their dogs and to be honest if you hadn't have seen them you would never had known they were there. Breakfast was served 8.30 - 9.30 and had a great selection from full english to fruit and muesli,We had the full english most days with fresh coffee and toast and on 2 occasions I had eggs benadict both were excellent and perfect poached eggs every time plus the added bonus of Chris's singing now and then as he served. Chris and Magda were very informative about the area and places to go and visit. The B&B is directly opposite Newquat golf club if you fancy a round and Fistral beach is about 1500 yards away if you fancy a bit of surfing. Eating out we found the Red Lion just down the road very good but you need to book a table before 4pm and maybe earlier to be sure of getting in also a little bit further on is the Fort Inn they have an outstanding outdoor area overlooking the harbour and the bay and the food is good but again you need to book, a little further on is the Central Inn very good food and drink and can also recommend The Concho lounge.
