We stayed here for a uni field trip. The rooms were fine with reasonably comfy beds. The views were cool and it is only a stones throw from the beach. The food they served was awful though. Even the vegetarian option barely had any vegetables in it. The staff serving were lovely though and always seemed up for a laugh....

We have stayed with Amanda and Geoff for a number of years. Always friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and as I had my 5 year old grandaughter with me last year who is a very fussy eater Amanda bent over backwards to make sure she had a filling breakfast. Fabulous views of the sea and the island...

Hotel difficult to find. Parking a nightmare, website states parking available at front of hotel but this is literally a small driveway and only park here if you enjoy playing "musical cars" Landlady pleasant and friendly on arrival. Rooms were very dated, need much improvement. Ensuite bathroom was tiny, no towel rails, rusty toilet roll holder, two holes in bathroom...

The hotel is on a good seafront location, but a little hard to find. We paid £30 per person per night, and despite being told we would have two en suite rooms only one of our number had an ensuite. It is a little disconcerting to still find hotels with bathrooms down the corridor in the 21st Century, but I...

On Arrival hotel reception seemed ok, until we got took to our rooms, mirrors in hall ways you couldn't see through them. Bedroom Walls are cracked mirrors pictures dirty, toilet seat not on straight. It felt like we had walked into a hotel of horrors, we new it would be the ritz as we only paid £25 a night but...

There was not enough parking outside of the hotel, the bar was never opened, breakfast was never served, and the room wasn't clean enough and gets very noisy (doors are too old & squeaky; toilet as well - can hear people taking showers & using the toilet). Staff was friendly on CHECK IN only, as soon as they got the money...

We felt very hurt to receive a review as bad as this one is. We are a traditional, sea front, small, family run hotel and our rooms are personally cared for by ourselves. We have owned the hotel for 8 years and during that time have had some wonderful times with no complaints. Unfortunately the person concerned refused to vacate...
