We arrived a couple of hours early and the caravan was ready so they had texted to say we could check in early, which was very helpful. We stayed in a six birth Fistral, which was lovely, modern and looked brand new. It was very clean. No coat hangers at all are supplied so you need to take your own. Thankfully I had already packed lots. This could just be while Covid restrictions are in place though. The caravan park is in a great location with only a ten to fifteen minute walk into town. We went via the steps in the wood in Trenance Gardens. The zoo, crazy golf and a leisure centre are all only a five to ten minute walk away. We thought it was great value and would definitely recommend and return

We sort of knew what to expect but not having a holiday in this country since childhood, it would still be very interesting experience. We had the porth caravan which had everything in it we needed. Two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchenette and living/dining area. It was basic and what you see is what you get. The location is great for the beaches and town. I enjoyed the experience but wouldn't go back only to be honest I prefer the weather abroad. One thing to recommend is the shower block which for a 30p token you can shower in a family cubicle, it has 2 showers and is 10min long. Easier when coming back from the beach.

Me and my partner booked a camping pitch from June 11th - June 15th. We originally booked till 14th but we rang and asked if we could stay an extra night the week before we came and they added this on no problem!
We arrived in Newquay a few hours earlier than expected, so we rang and asked if we could have an early check in. They accommodated this with no fuss!
Once checked in, we were given a map to our pitch, and I loved the little chalk board with our name on! Made it very homely!
Once settled, we were in and out of the site in the car no problem! We did walk into Newquay centre a few times, and there is a steep hill. Nonetheless the hill isn’t too bad and it only took 10 minutes to walk into the centre and the beaches which was perfect for us!!
Toilet block was situated right next to us which was ideal. Shower tokens cost 30p each which isn’t an issue. We bought ten which cost £3 which when you think about it really isn’t much! Showers aren’t the most powerful but did the job, and the temperature of the showers were just right! Me and my partner had to buy more tokens as we didn’t want to get out of the shower! Ha!!
For a campsite, it is very clean! Toilets and showers are cleaned regularly!
There were a couple of ‘rowdy’ pitches around us, but they soon quietened down once the warden had had a word with them!
Me and my partner had the most loveliest time, and this campsite was so ideal for us to pitch up and go and explore Cornwall!
Would definitely recommend, and we hope to see you again next year!!

Trenance has been a favourite holiday destination for my family and I for nearly 15 years, we have camped, stayed in caravans and then we settled for a chalet. Home from home we thought, nice central location for beaches, shops and so my girls could go to town in the evenings. But In the passed few years the chalets have become tired, and run down. Now our 10 day holiday used to cost £998, then after Covid went up to £1500. As everybody was on a “staycation”, I understood the massive increase at that time, then hoped this year, as the rest of the world was open, that it would go down a few hundred pounds, but alas they pretended it was £1700 reduced to £1500. I was a little incensed as I know how much I paid the year before and wrote to them stating this which they duly ignored! And then to my dismay, I received an email requesting that I pay the balance eight weeks before the holiday, when it had always been four weeks, I called the reception because I thought this was a error, but was told that the terms and conditions had changed and “I should’ve read them”, (which I probably did 15 years ago) I asked if we could have a few weeks extension, as we had always paid on time and we had always left the chalet spotlessly clean and respected all of the rules on site, to be told “NO” it had to be paid! Now also, the deposit for the 10 days had always been £100, this had gone up to £200 and I was told very abruptly that it was nonrefundable, so I lost £200 instead of £100, thanks for that… as I’ve been a single Mum for 24 years (and now a grandmother)this is a big hit on my finances! To say me and my family were brokenhearted was an understatement, I feel we had appalling customer service, and zero concessions from the very person I have always spoken to in the office. This destination would’ve been kept on by my family and my Grandson for many years, but they have lost that. Luckily, with such short notice, I managed to book a luxury holiday at Cofton holidays, which was £100 cheaper, all the bedlinen and towels included, there were lots of amenities and things to do on site and was so fabulous, it doesn’t compare, and this is our new favourite place.

We were booked to stay at this campsite for two nights which we booked earlier this year. A week prior to staying we looked up again the site to start planning our visit and my husband noticed in the small print NO PETS at the site. This is the first campsite I have ever seen in UK that doesn’t allow pets. I contacted customer services and explained our trip does include a pet and it wasn’t seen at time of booking as it was right at the bottom of the page. The reply was as per our terms and conditions no refund will be given. Absolutely shocking! As it was a week prior to the stay. £49.50 for nothing !

Where to start...Pitch wasnt level, toilets were clean but at night you can see everyone on the loo in the reflection of the "windows" (hole is roof covered by perspex). The first two days of our stay the drinking water was brown. We had ants and ticks in the tent after 2 days. (We left nothing out but still the ants worked their way to our food). Very noisey teenages at 2am waking everyone up (the warden did nothing despite being about 50feet away in one of the vans). The showers were moldy and smelly. The water that came out of them barely wet you nevermind washed the soap from your hair. The toilets blocks were cleaned at 9am every morning by (I'm guessing) a couple as they argued like one. We booked in for 10days and at day 4 we went to talk to reception about everything and their reply was "we are busy you know". We ended up booking into another site and moving on the 5th day as we couldnt stay there any longer with no sleep and feeling dirty due to the ticks& ants everywhere and the scruffy showers. Its a shame as its a great location but deffinately wont be staying there again as the staff didnt give two hoots about it.

Paid in full. Asked if I could cancel months in advance all I got was a simple no we don’t do refunds. Nearly £300 down the drain! I would advice you not pay in full because no matter the circumstance you will NOT receive a refund. They could have kept the deposit and had plenty of time to make the dates available for someone else.

We got a very last minute booking at a very reasonable price for the week of the bank holiday. We had booked a parkdean campsite that turned out to be vile and uninhabitable .

The receptionist was incredibly helpful with booking on the phone when we were desperate to find somewhere for our family . She was also on the next morning when we checked in and was lovely .

The caravan was absolutely brilliant and smelt so clean as soon as we walked in we were thrilled. We were able to salvage what was potentially a write off . We felt completely de stressed immediately.

Its a great site , walking distance to beaches and town

Facilities great and clean

Thank you Trenance

Stayed Friday evening to Bank Holiday Monday in a 2 bed chalet. I was not over impressed when I arrived. Exterior of chalet looked a little tired. However interior was clean and everything was in working order. Good shower, comfortable bed, very clean. You can walk into the town up a steep hill or drive in a couple of mins. The park felt quiet and safe. It was a great no frills base to explore the surrounding area and in this basis I’d recommend.

Chalet very good for small families with babies. We went on our first family holiday and would 100% recommend due to having Separate bedroom and lots of room for baby to crawl around on the floor. Excellent location for the town centre and beaches although big hill is killer when pushing buggy, but if you go right towards Newquay zoo, and turn left, this is easier route to town centre. Would stay again. Rated 4/5 due to poor WiFi connection and floor was quite dirty. Also found spider web in the double room. Overall, had a great stay and found it more flexible than staying in a restricted hotel :)
