My partner and I check in to The Blue Door for three nights and can't recommend it more highly.

From it's location close to Newquay Beach and all the great food and drink options that town has to offer, to the comfy bed, cleanliness and amazing breakfast bags, it was a perfect stay.

Shawn and Lou provided heaps of fantastic recommendations for where to eat, and went the extra mile to make sure we felt safe staying there with hand sanitiser at every turn, and an approach

We stayed here for a long weekend a cannot fault it. We booked room 4 which was absolutely spotless and the only noise you hear is from the seagulls. Shower is amazing and the dehumidifier fans always kept the room cool. There was also a fan provided which was handy during the warm nights.
Location is perfect (5-10 minute walk to anywhere in town) and the parking they provide is very handy. Breakfast was always tasty (see attached photo). Can’t ask for much more from a B&B and would definitely recommend.

I had a fab stay at the Blue Door - it’s truly a ‘hidden gem’.

I stayed in room 3 which is painted green, has a lovely view of the sea and is spotless.

Breakfast is delicious and healthy - the owners are very accommodating to different dietary needs.

Thanks for a lovely stay!

My boyfriend and I have just got back from 7 nights at the blue door. Can’t recommend enough! Shawn and Lou were great hosts, communication was amazing and we loved the little touches they created...like the breakfast bags! Lovely accommodation, very clean room and super comfy. The b&b is in a great location too, only a short walk into newquay town centre and not far from the beaches either! Would defiantly stay here again, enjoyed it thoroughly! Thank you!!

We really enjoyed our stay here and felt like we were at home! Very clean and everything you could need. We also really enjoyed the healthy, homemade and filling breakfast, felt like they really set us up for the day and we will miss them! Location is great - just a short walk away from town but away from the busyness. Parking is a bonus too! Loved all the little touches in the room and around the place as well as tips on where to eat, where to go etc. Would definitely come back!

We had a great time at The Blue Door. Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy, the room was trendy and interesting. Owners Lou & Shawn were so nice and know where all the great places to go out and eat and drink in Newquay and surrounding areas! We will be back again definitely.

We stayed here for a few days and really enjoyed our stay. The location and parking is brilliant, especially when we saw how packed the carpark around the corner was! Our room was clean and tidy and we really enjoyed the breakfast bags. Whenever we need anything we could just text the owners and they responded straight away. We completely recommend this place.

I had a Tyre blow on my van on a Sunday night. I rang Shawn as it was too late to book a room on booking.com. He was out having a pint but set up the room for me within an hour. In the morning he was so helpful, lending me a jack and giving tips for how to sort it in town. He was lovely to have such a personal touch when having a difficult situation on holidays.

On a side note, the actual room we had was stunning, we just made it there to see a beautiful sunset over the sea and the town. Lovely coffee and tea in the room and delicious breakfast delivered to the door at 9am (or other times if you wish). A great guide to newquay was left in the room to with great WiFi.

If you’re looking for a great, small independent place to stay in newquay would 100% recommend the blue door!

We had a fantastic week in Newquay and North cornwall. We swam, paddleboarded, walked the coastal path, and ate and drank well. Our week was made that much nicer and easier due to Shawn and Lous hospitality. The room was excellent, the breakfasts they put on were stunning. They were extremely accommodating and everything was made very safe in this new world. Location also excellent. We'll be back! John and Lucy

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for six nights. The rooms we stayed in were so clean and lovely which is so important at the minute. Towels and bedding were very high quality and extremely comfortable. The location was perfect with some nice restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Parking worked great. We were unlucky and for one of the nights had some noisy guests above us but I’m sure if I had mentioned this Shawn would have sorted it straight away as he was a great host! Absolutely didn’t distract from the excellent B and B and stunning rooms. We can’t wait to come back!
