We stayed for a midweek break during the summer holidays. I was a bit skeptical having read some of the reviews but the caravan was exactly as described and looked identical to the ones in the pictures.

We did have some issues with checking in in that our caravan wasn’t ready and then when we were eventually told it was ready when we got there it hadn’t been cleaned and was filthy. It was frustrating as we had two tired kids with us and had to go back to reception and wait for nearly 2 hours for it to be finally cleaned. If I’m honest by this point I was furious and the fact that reception had closed by the time the caravan was ready and it only because the lady in the bar kept checking for us to see if it was ready or I imagine we’d still be waiting now!!

When we finally got into the caravan it was clean, tidy and the welcome packs were great. We used the pool 3 times during our stay and it was cleaned each time as we were leaving which was reassuring in these current times. The bar area was nice and well set out for social distancing.

Overall we enjoyed our stay and have booked to come back in half term as the kids loved it. Would like to have the same caravan again!!

Dear Louise6099, Thank you for your feedback. We were pleased to read that despite the challenge on arrival you had such a great time and that you and the family will be returning very shortly for another stay. Like all businesses, things may not always go to plan and we are delighted that the team was able to address the matters there and than. Thank you again for your feedback and we look forward to welcoming you back for the half term break.

The experience was great at the caravan site, the staff were friendly and approachable. The caravan itself was nice, 1 double room and 1 single room with 2 beds. The location itself was ideal for family's and couples although I travelled with 2 of my friends we still managed to have a great time.

The prices at the bar and restaurant however was expensive, no outdoor pool and also no shop on site which did cause a issue on the 2nd day for toiletries. Neighbours had dogs barking non stop but other than that it was worth the trip!

Perranporth and Port Isaac were my favourite part of the trip, beautiful areas and would definitely go there again in the future, Newquay was OK was deprived in some areas but the Irish bar made up for it!

We stayed here for a week. It’s a lovely site but seems to have quite a lot of building work at the moment so it’s a bit of an eye sore when you first enter the site. A bit disappointing but we didn’t hear any noise from this during our visit. The grounds are kept really tidy and there’s a field onsite where you can walk dogs which is so handy. It’s a really quiet site, we had a hot tub and enjoyed sitting out on an evening to eat a meal and then unwind in the hot tub with a glass of wine. We left on a Saturday morning and unfortunately our last evening (Friday night) was spoiled by the noise from the tacky entertainment which sounded like an ABBA tribute. This went on until almost midnight. We had an 8 hour drive home on the Saturday morning so it was slightly disappointing to not be able to chill out on our last evening, or even be able to get an early night. Next time we’d try avoid leaving on a weekend to avoid this.

We stayed here for 5 days in September in the Superior Lodge 3 (hot tub & pet). There was myself my partner and our dog. We found it easy to find and the reception staff friendly and welcoming. We were in the new section of Newperran Heights and they had a sales event on for the new lodges that meant we could have mooch inside all of them the ones with the roof patios are amazing with amazing views. This also meant we had no neighbours for our whole stay which was lovely and meant we could come and go as we pleased. We had meals in the on site pub a couple of times and found it to be nice food and reasonably priced, we even did an interactive quiz one night that was good. The actual lodge was spotlessly clean and everything was sparkly brand new, the only downside is there is just a few things I feel were missing i.e dishwasher tablets/ washing up liquid, tea, coffee, sugar and tin foil etc. The little things you wouldn't think to bring. You can do they are doing lots of work to the site to improve it and seems to be coming along nicely. Its an ideal location just a short drive to Perranporth and Newquay which was perfect for us. We loved it that much we have just rebooked to come back and we cant wait!

Where do I start.....
Well this is the 3rd visit to newperran and we stayed at Bude 74. Not the best caravan I have stayed in but as the say you get what you pay for it’s a standard luxury caravan and for that it ticks all the boxes. We previously stayed in the lodge with tub(absolutely gorgeous) and we are in the other lodge next year(can’t wait).
The staff are friendly and very polite and helpful, even in these difficult times most things are available. The pool has booking slots and the restaurant you also have to book but can also take out and eat at your van and it’s not expensive £12 fish a and chips is very reasonable. Can’t say much about the weather even though we were lucky it’s September and very unpredictable when your so close to the Atlantic.
As previously stated we are returning next year and we would definitely recommend this place we love it great location just down the road from Newquay and 10 mins away from perranporth a beautiful seaside time that we can’t get enough of.
Very COVID aware and all precautions are spot on.
See you all again next year keep up the good work

Just returned from a lovely break at Newperran Holiday Resort. Very quiet perhaps because all the camping fields closed due to CV19 but highly recommend the location and quality of this site. Lovely new clean caravan (comfort pet) better than expected with complete self contained facilities. Close driving distance to fantastic beach and town at Perranporth and adjacent Perran Sands beach (the latter off-lead dog friendly all day) Not rwalking distance to town unfortunately but still highly recommended. The parking In town is very easy thanks to a large reasonably priced car park close to a supermarket just a few minutes walk to the beach

A lovely peaceful park with all the facilities needed for a short break, swimming pool, arcade, play area and a pub/restaurant. No shop onsite but this wasn’t a problem for us as we stocked up at the supermarket in Newquay
We stayed in a Premium 2 caravan and it was stunning, immaculately clean and the little extras like towels included, beds made up on arrival, a box of kitchen and bathroom essentials just added to the luxury of it.
The park is around 5-10 minute drive from Perranporth and 15-20 minutes from Newquay so an ideal base for the area.
Highly recommend and we will definitely be booking again

We have just returned from a weeks stay at Newperran and it was fantastic. The site itself was very clean and tidy, the site has two great play areas for kids and a skate park for older kid's. due to covid the pool, arcade and laundrette was not open but the bar was. The bar was clean and well stocked. The site is well spaced out and the green areas well maintained with flora. The site was very family friendly but also very quite. We stayed in a 2 bedroom mobile home which was perfect for what we needed. The beds were clean and the towels provided were lovely big and very fluffy. The welcome packs were nice touch. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed. The decking was a good size and was enclosed which mean the kids could play safely outside. I’ve seen people complaining that the decking and outside furniture was dirty but that’s what you get when you’re close to the coast, it’s nothing that a cloth won’t wipe off. The mobile home had heating and hot water from a boiler that was very efficient when the temperature dropped at night. The only negative was there was no WiFi in the mobile home but we could still get 4G on our phones. The location was brilliant, only 10 minutes from both Perranporth which had a wonderful beach and Newquay which has a supermarkets etc. We could get to Falmouth, St Ives and LandsEnd with easy. As locations in Cornwall it was perfect to either have lazy days on the beach or to visit attractions. Thank you for helping make amazing memories, we will be back

Dear Nickynevin12, We strive to give people memories that last a life time here at Newperran and it fills us with joy to read we actually have. Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review, we hope to welcome you back in the not too distant future. (did you know that our holiday homes are owned by families who use their holiday homes for their own holidays and than rent them out to people like yourselves to pay towards their holidays? - that way, they turn a holiday of a lifetime into a lifetime of holidays) Best wishes.

My partner, dog and I are on our way home (sadly) from a long weekend in New Perran. The caravan (comfort pet 2) was such a lovely surprise, as many other dog owners may know what I mean as to when you arrive at some places you're left with the dirtiest caravan ever 🤢 not like that at all with New Perran, lovely, clean, fresh, tidy etc. The only thing was the people before had left their rubbish in the cupboard which stunk, but it clearly states to remove your own rubbish!

We found all staff to be helpful and polite, food in the restaurant was nice and value for money!

Lovely dog walks around and not far from beaches, tho not in walking distance. May be obvious but if you have a dog we highly recommend going there around 7:30am as it gets so busy so quickly and will struggle to park let alone move!

Really loved that the decking is secure with a gate, perfect for hyper pups! With that you're fully able to relax as I was dreading that at first because our pooch is super hyper (sprocker spaniel) then saw that and instantly relaxed!

We didn't use it but during Covid, the pool is useable but you just need to book and I believe they said a maximum of 20 people and you have an hours session but only 45 mins in the pool for those wondering.

We had the best time, thank you for all at New Perran! Cannot wait to arrive when our little one has made her arrival 😁😁

Dear ShannonPrangnell, Thank you for your review following your recent stay with us. I must admit we are all a bit dog mad here at Newperran and love to welcome four legged friends on park (well that is if their accompanying humans are well behaved :) and in the bar and restaurant. There is so much space around us for lovely walks and it makes the park the pawfect place for a holiday with pets. Exciting times ahead of the arrival of your little girl and we hope we will be able to welcome you all back to Newperran when she has made her arrival. (one can not be introduced to holidays in Cornwall early enough :)) Best wishes and see you soon.

Arrived yesterday and quite disappointed to find that the caravan hadn't been cleaned to a high standard, dead flies under the bed, mould in the shower tray and dog hairs all over the sofa. Not enough cutlery for a 4 person holiday home, no battery back for back of the remote control which is a danger with a toddler around. Got into bed to find no mattress or pillow protectors which is discusting especially in this current climate, the pillows stank of sweat and we were only provided with one pillow in the twin bedroom. Smoke alarm battery kept beeping in the night which cannot be helped but added to the stress. Called reception to notify and were told that we could have more pillows but they don't provide mattress protectors in the 'sub let' caravans. A nice guy from maintenence came and brought new pillows and kindly offered new bedding but we have to make ourselves. Also asked for a high chair on arrival at a cost of £10, this didn't arrive until we mentioned it to the maintenance man but unfortunately this is broken and unsafe. Certainly not impressed.
