Visited this pub a couple of weeks ago, I need to use the toilets and they were an absolute disgrace. I think somebody had been unwell in there but some time ago and this had not been cleared up, you can tell that it had been there for a long time. Luckily I had some baby wipes in my bag and proceeded to clean the toilet, which I shouldn't have. I know I could have asked someone but everyone who was working there was very young and I shouldn't think would have wanted to do the cleaning. Please do regular checks as this shouldn't happen.

I must start by saying I highly recommend this place, it was fantastic. The staff were amazing, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, very attentive and all the while keeping up the highest standards. They just couldn’t do enough for you! The room itself was bright and airy, exceptionally clean and the Sea View was just special, it’s literally across the road! The food was exceptional, from the very tasty full English for breakfast to the mouthwatering fish dishes in the evening, I couldn’t have asked for more.

We enjoyed a few afternoon drinks here after arriving in Penzance after a very busy morning. We were both ready for a few ice cold ciders and were attracted here by the sunny terrace. They have a large terrace which was soon full. It’s a popular place. The staff were friendly and helpful and Covid measures were being taken seriously. Good WiFi too! We were so chilled we stayed for a good three or four. Highly recommended.

We’re here on a horse riding holiday and after a long day riding coast to coast the fresh fish and chips we ordered were just the job. Really friendly service. Very extensive menu. Would def return if we were in the area longer.

We ate here two nights as our hotel down the road wasn't offering evening meals. The staff are really friendly and accommodating. All of the food we had was really lovely and they have a great selection of home made cake for desert. Thoroughly recommended.
