Well located for the Scillonian Ferry, with long stay parking close by (£6.00 per night). Standard pub rooms, rather basic but adequate for a one-night stop-over. Some stray hairs in the shower! We enjoyed a good, freshly-cooked breakfast.

Just arrived home from a weeks stay at the longboat we all enjoyed our stay and will be booking again for next year. Rooms were very clean and beds were comfy. Breakfast is a buffet style with plenty of choice and very tasty local produce. Staff were helpful and always had a smile nothing was too much trouble...

The service here was good, and the staff were excellent. Breakfast was good as well. The room was standard but comfortable, but we didn't intend to spend all our time there, and were happy to get our heads down each night after doing a lot of touring! For the number of staff there, and what they have to do, from...

Great accommodation. Great breakfast. Great staff. Great location. Everything about this is great. Except it is not suitable for those less able physically. No lift and lots of stairs. Breakfast was excellent and we didn't need to eat at lunchtime. Beer was also very good.

Stayed here in March due a double booking at a guest house, and what a blessing in disguise. Room was great, clean spacious and great comfy bed. We ate here in the evening and had the best rump steak I have had in a long time, my partner had the homemade steak and ale pie good to see a real...

The phone call when we first booked was an indicator of their helpfulness when we got there. The food was good with enough choice, the room was clean and the size of the bed meant we both got a good sleep. The cinema was small but exquisitely formed ! The nearness to the rail station meant we could just carry...

This is a very old hotel so would not suit anyone unable to use stairs. It is comfortable and has easy access to Penzance. The outstanding feature of this hotel is its staff who really go the extra mile to make their guests feel welcome. The food is good, tasty and not expensive served with pride and enthusiasm to offer...

We stayed a total of 3 nights. Located next door to trains, buses and Scillonian. Staff are friendly and helpful, especially the manager. Rooms are decent with good facilities. Full breakfast is ok. We also had evening meals, a different special is available each evening which is excellent value. Not a lot of noise, inside or out. Good value.

Stayed here on a flying visit in June 2015 & despite having used the bar and restaurant on a number of occasions in the last 25 yrs this was my first stay there and upon leaving I wondered why I hadn't taken the plunge before! I arrived on the sleeper train in Penzance at 8am however I was able to...
