Fran always makes our stay wonderful, with amazing facilities, comfortable rooms and nothing too much trouble. We love being able to bring tea back to your dining room and the girls love the family room. Thank you for another lovely night, we'll be back without a doubt!

The Keigwin House is central located to walk into town or to the ocean. I spent 3 days and felt warmly welcome. Fran and Stuart are thoughtful and very likeable proprietors. The breakfast was excellent and room number 4 was beautiful and very comfortable. It will not be my last visit at Keigwin House!

Marveĺlous b and b. Truly welcoming owner and very well appointed rooms. Breakfast was great and I cannot praise the owner highly enough. There is little more to add but I seldom take the trouble to write a review so the fact I have shows I really wanted to communicate how great this b and b is

We only spent one night there and arrived late and then left early but were really impressed. The house is very nice. We had a huge, sunny room on the top floor. It was clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was generous, with a good selection of cereals, yogurt, and cooked breakfasts. The little we'd seen of Penzance was quite...

Warm welcome met us as we arrived and fresh milk provided for tea. Room at the back of the property and was large and clean. Plumbing woke me at six when someone in another room used facilities, but quite quiet. Good information about where to go for tea.

I have just spent a week on a motorbike touring holiday of the west country and gambled on finding somewhere to stay each night without doing any research or advance booking. How lucky was I then to knock on the door of this classy bed and breakfast. I was greeted by the owner, Fran, who introduced herself and made me...

Situated some 5-10 minutes walk from the centre of Penzance and 5 minutes from the sea front, in a residential road full of similar properties. Ideally situated for visiting Mousehole, Lamorna and the Lands End coast area. We had a split visit and stayed in two different rooms. I would recommend that if a superior is available take it, although...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Keigwin House is a friendly, family-run quality guesthouse situated on treelined Alexandra Road in Penzance. Keigwin is one of a row of Victorian houses built in the 1850s, now modernised for your comfort whilst retaining many original features. Fran and Stuart Brint moved over to Penzance from the Isles of Scilly after purchasing Keigwin in 2005. Since then, Fran and Stuart have taken on an extensive programme of refurbishment and modernisation and now enjoy welcoming guests to their home. Keigwin House is a friendly, relaxed place to stay whilst enjoying the delights that Penzance has to offer. There is a choice of tastefully furnished family, double, twin and single rooms. All rooms are en suite with the exception of both the single rooms and one twin room which all have a vanity basin but share a bathroom. Bathrobes are provided in the standard rooms. We are also ideally placed for you to venture further afield, whether by car, bus or train, and explore the stunning scenery and attractions that West Cornwall has to offer. ... more   less
