Easy to park and such a warm welcome from Trevor & Kirsten. A beautiful house, classic, tastefully decorated and with gorgeous artworks - by Kirsten. We stayed in the garden room that was stunning! All mod cons and more: even little extras down in the dining room: extra milk, fruit, drinks and biscuits - they have everything! Lovely bed - clean crisp cotton duvet so comfortable including the pillows. Bathroom with fantastic power shower, fluffy towels and a bath (even a face cloth for make up). A fantastic location right near the beach/seafront. Not far from lots of eateries our favourite The Navy Inn around the corner past the Lugger, Wetherspoons is great in town, We visited Penlee Gallery a short walk up the hill. So many places to drive too you won’t be disappointed. Breakfast you are asked to fill out the form the night before with a huge choice from Continental or Traditional. This is the best breakfast we have ever had and my word they know quality! I mean eggs are eggs - no these were deep yellow/orange rich and so fantastically cooked. We had full English, Eggs Benedict, With gorgeous sweet little oven cooked cherry tomatoes. Toast was decent and lush seeded bread. Tea & Coffee is in the room yet also any sort that you wish for is not a problem. Trevor & Kirsten you have a real gem and we would love to return. Thank you so much for your kindness and superb B&B. Beautiful old house just a minute’s stroll from the seafront, with a small private car park, and pretty courtyard garden Everything at the Summer House is done with style and great care and it really was a pleasure to stay there. All areas were spotlessly clean, comfortable and welcoming. A variety of breakfast dishes are offered and they were were always of great quality, fresh and beautifully served. The selection of extra drinks and snacks for guests to help themselves to was very thoughtful and generous, and sets them apart from other places, including so called 5* hotels. Trevor and Kirsten are very warm and welcoming hosts. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and they were a mine of information on where to visit, eat etc. We will certainly return when we’re next in Cornwall.…

We felt so welcome at the Summer House and nothing was too much trouble. Beautifully furnished rooms and guest areas. Kirsten is a very talented artist and her paintings adorn the walls. Wonderful linen and towels. Every thing you need and more. Just two minutes from the promenade.

Comfortable, homely and smart. Warm welcome from Trevor & Kirsten, whose lovely paintings grace the walls. Excellent room & generous breakfast. 50 yds to the seafront and 250 yds to the Jubilee Pool. Famous restaurants and galleries of Newlyn and Penzance all in easy walking distance. We’ll be back.

We were greeted warmly, fed well and given helpful advice to make this a wonderful holiday experience in Cornwall. The easy parking was a bonus to a great location near the Penzance waterfront. The room was comfortable and well provisioned - we wish we had stayed longer!

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at . The property is cla an and comftable, the rooms are well equipped with everything you could need. What makes this hotel so good though is the hosts, Trevor and Kirsten are superb hosts! They go out their way to make you feel at home and comfortable, we were made to feel extremely welcome nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was fantastic with a huge variety of options available. We would highly recommend a stay here for anyone visiting Penzance or the Cornwall region.

This is one of the nicest stays we've ever had, and we've travelled a lot! Trevor and Kirsten are superb hosts! The property is clean and comfortable with a lovely living room open to everyone to enjoy, a beautiful private back garden where we were served tea and cake, and a sweet dining area that is open for coffee, tea, water, soft drinks and treats 24/7. We were made to feel extremely welcome and Trevor went out of his way to orient us. The location is great and we walked everywhere. The guest room had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was beyond fantastic and we would give it more than 10 stars!! We hope to return again in the future and we would highly recommend a stay here for anyone visiting Penzance or the Cornwall region.

An outstanding B&B, which we stayed in for 2 nights en route to Scilly, but we would gladly have stayed longer in this elegant, comfortable and welcoming B&B. Everything is top quality, from the public spaces to the bedrooms and the breakfast. Great thought has gone into the whole building, the level of comfort is outstanding, and the breakfast could not be bettered - high-quality ingredients, beautifully cooked. And even though we were only there for 2 nights, we were made to feel at home for the whole of our all-too-brief visit. The location, just back from the sea-front, is very convenient, there is car-parking on the premises, and Penzance is an excellent centre for exploring south-west Cornwall - Landsend, St Ives, and the Lizard Peninsula are accessible by car or public transport. If I could give this a 1000 stars I would. This is the best experience in a hotel/inn I have had. And I have had the opportunity to stay at many luxury hotels around the world. The Inn beats them all hands down. The beds are very comfortable as well as the room. The hosts are what make this place so amazing. They attend to your every wish, even the ones you didn’t know you had! Stay here! I promise you won’t regret it!
